Good luck Sharon.
Kinda wish I had waited to visit this weekend so we had the extra holiday time. Thought about driving the car down for him, if it was fixed in time, if he got the school be wanted, but that's not looming possible now. Thought for a minute SA could be home, I was willing to move now if it wasn't for other commitments. Tomorrow should be the day to hear orders. I'm not going to get my hopes up or plan anything again until he has paperwork in his hands.
Jess, text me that pic if you can. I wanna see it too! I love wedding planning.

Sharon - have a great Labor Day and please report back about the girlfriend and your weekend.

Jessica - Good luck with your mother.  Sounds like she has her own agenda.  Love her anyways and forgive her.  The dresses sound wonderful.  Don't forget to make it fun for Grant.

Hi all!  Jess - the dress sounds beautiful - have fun with the wedding plans - sorry your mom isn't being supportive.  keep trying though - for your own sake.

We leave tomorrow for Pensacola to see my son (taking the girlfriend that we've never met)  wish us luck and good weather!

Have a great Labor Day Weekend everyone!

Noo, never had intentions for during that weekend.

Haha yeah i do work fast though.I wear this massive ballgown for my "wedding wedding" in January. I got a long white dress with some beading and a short train at Macys left over from prom, that will work for the beach wedding. Not my dream dress, but it will do the job. I get to wear the dream dress in January(: Plus I cannot afford an actual beach wedding dress right now haha, so this $38 bargain will do the trick. It's a pretty dress.

My mom knows. She didn't care about the dress. We got into another argument yesterday (of course). She was supposed to meet me for dinner. I waited over an hour and she never showed. She was visiting some convict at the prison hospital. Yeah he has cancer, but he is also a convicted murderer. My mom puts murderers above me sometimes. Really makes you feel great. I was upset and she said I was being a bad and mean daughter and started bawling on the phone (cause that makes me feel AWESOME...). I cried the whole way I walked to class. This is my relationship with her now. It just blows.

Holy smokes!  You work fast (I already knew that!).  Were you the one who asked about getting married during PIR weekend?

So when do you wear the dress?  when you get married or when you have the
"wedding"?

Have you shared these plans with your mom?

45 days until we get married, and if all goes as planned, roughly 149 days until we have a "wedding"!  I'm SO excited(:

I totally understand.  Better not to take any chances.
