Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

But either way, fiance or girlfriend - I would be crushed if called before "mommy" was but still I would understand. They are so tired and excited right now, I know they are not thinking straight. For grin n and those that did not get a call yet, don't forget some have watch, so hang in there. Amber - so sorry as you are in a very difficult place right now knowing he was seeing the doc yesterday and all the issues before. My prayers are with you that all gets sorted out and fast so you can plan your trip. Can't wait to meet "the other moms" next week!

He sounded real tired!! He said the got to go to the Nex and get treats!! Their group dominated he said!! He said they really have been rockin on collecting the flags - and now they piddle fart around till PIR!! My phone lost the damn call - I was SO PISSED!!!

Sounds crazy but I know for certain you ladies will understand above all others (especially my boss - lol).

Congrats to 205/206! Now, come on 208, we are waiting to hear from you all!!! :-)

He was even drinking a Red Bull...a treat! Now that they're sailors I guess they have more choices...too cute!! Lovin it...I'm a super happy MOM!!
