Amber: Just sent a friend request with the BattleStations info I have. Don't click accept before reading message or it goes away!
Hi SHIP 09 DIV 205!
Check into our discussion above. :)!
Howdy howdy all!
Looks like Div 205 did not write their letters on Sun, but on Tues 6/19, so I also got mine today too instead of last Thurs as usual! Happy now :)! Was good news, not sick anymore and Div doing well, all excited about the week to come. I think he realizes this is better than camp as a kid, because when it is all over, they don't all go their seperate ways, but are family and some will continue in their adventures together still. Pretty cool! For those still waiting for letters, hang in there.
Ladies, just want to correct some misinformation that is being passed around. BattleStations are NOT 36 hours long. They are approximately 12 hours long, an overnight drill. But it is true that the SRs/sailors will be up for about 38 hours by the time they get to "hit their racks" at 8 pm the day they finish ... this is 2 hours earlier than they normally have lights out. Please read the BattleStations discussion above in the Forum for more info.
I have a date for 205-208. Waiting on other dates for the other divisions from you all!
cbadillo: You write in the info on the gate passes.
For others who need to print out your gate passes, here is the link:
http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp
You can print as many as you like
DanaVann: Did you give them your old PIR date/division number and the password you had from that one? Usually that works. They have to make sure you are who you say you are. I would try again and hope to get a different person. This worked for me and for MSMom who had to do the same thing.
Hi all, I just printed my gate pass!! Does anyone know if we are supposed to type in name and info before printing? I tried to but wasn't able to so I printed it blank. I hope this will be acceptable. cbadillo (09/205)
cbadillo: One positive side effect of the gas chamber is it seems to "heal" any respiratory illnesses! :-)
Hello Ladies, My mail does not get delivered until late afternoon but my sister got a letter this morning! We normally don't receive anything until Thurs or Fri. He went through the gas chamber on Thursday (div 205), and made it out ok! This worried me SO much. He says they are looking forward to BS. If anyone hears anything else, please share. Thanks cbadillo (09/205)
diannep.. if it possible, could you message me with Div 210 BS date?... Im just so excited to be leaving next week for PIR.. Praying that all is well and nothing goes awry between now and then! :)
