Where is Sarges meet and greet? the Ramada? And if I need to use Sarges taxi service from MKE airport do I need to call in advance to reserve it or just whenever I land?
Welcom Dana... My son too was in a different div (188) and he actually was originally supposed to PIR today... but he was injured and set back and now is div 210... so I have been there where you are.. its hard but it does get easier.. :)
My husband gave me a date for BS21 for Div 207. I have a question regarding it?
If he tells me it starts on a certain day... the 'I'm a sailor' call would be sometime the next afternoon, right? I just want to make sure I have my phone with me for sure.
And Div 207... for some reason he thinks they get to call today... keep those phones close!!! :)
Morning all - and welcome to PIR 7/6 DanaVan!
Well Dana, I am will you, no letter yesterday either but beleiving what I said yesterday as no call to say otherwise - they must be busy. But it sure is hard after getting a letter the last 4 weeks to not get one and not know what is going on! TRYING hard to stay focused on the many home/barn issues so I don't worry and stay productive where I should. ESP as I hope to leave for 4 days in a few weeks!!! Thanks for who posted (can't look back now as I am typing) about 205 getting another flag, that is at least 2 - great for them! Sounds like they are hard at work. Thanks to all who keep up the info on each Div so others (like me) know! Hope to meet everyone hear at PIR. Please post if you are going to the Sarges meeting or another as we are right next to Flannagans but will go over to Sarges if more are going there. HAVE A GOOD DAY ALL!
Should say that my message to "Dana" a few posts below is actually to DanaVann. We have 2 "Dana's" on here now! Don't want to get them confused!
Dana, don't have a date yet for 205/206 but they should be the first group to start. Should be mid-week next week, is my guess. The SRs are the ones who know the date so all need to ask.
Remember, we can't post actual dates on here, but we can private message them. Please don't post them in the discussion groups either...RTC has asked us to keep them off of Navy4Moms and Facebook. Private message only.
Welcome, Dana. He will do fine. I know it is quite a shock since I know you had travel plans in place. I did too when my son was pushed back when there. I was also shocked, but it worked out fine. It will for you too! So glad that your son is healthy again and moving along. He will make new friends in his new division and they will get through these last days together...before all become sailors!
Good morning all!
Well it is now 3:46 am here lol and I have not been to bed. I had to pack and clean so much to get done. I will be traveling all day today but I will check in with my cell phone. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
