Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

If you prefer not to use PayPal click on the print and call option (you don't really have to print) it will give you my phone number to call me for an address to send a check or money order to. I accept PayPal, checks or money order but I can't do credit cards over the phone yet. It is just too expensive for such a small business. Maybe when I am big and famous lol. So sorry you had a problem with it. I look forward to hearing from you and to making ribbons or other items for you and your family. :-)

Amber/Dana: I feel sure that is what is happening...things are getting very busy since they are so close to becoming sailors. Hang in there....that I'm a Sailor call and then PIR make it all worth it!

And, yes, this group will be starting BattleStations next week and continuing during PIR week. We can't post actual dates that divisions go (we can private message) but they do start next week. If anyone has received a BattleStations date from their SR, please friend request/private message it to me. I'm trying to keep a schedule for the different PIR groups. Thanks!

I sleep with the thing and the one time I walked away from it I missed a call!! So disappointed. But I keep telling myself if it was anything bad they wouldve let him call me back by now. Now tell me, does the whole division have to pass all the tests before they can graduate or is it by individual basis?
