Anyone get a call yet?? I'm hoping we get one today or tomorrow. They have free time today till 1. Maybe???
I am sorry I have been away a lot for the last couple of days. Graduation was awesome and we had a wonderful party afterwards. Today we are all going for a drive across the Blue Ridge Parkway and going into Cherokee for a little shopping and a picnic. I hope you all have a wonderful day.
Thanks, Ellen. Just was confirming that because I wasn't sure about Navy Lodge.
Tyelersmom - Hre is the info for Ship 09 from this page:

I think there's a photo of my daughter playing the flute at the May 18th PIR on the Navy Recruit Training Command facebook page. Yeah! Either that or someone else's daughter who looks like her. I prefer the former so that's what I'll believe.
Lots of photos posted earlier in the week of other divisions marching but none of them look like divisions from our PIR. Still nice to see all those SRs.
Hello all... I was just wondering if anyone here knows the street name for the div? My son was originally in a different div and got hurt so he was set back a couple weeks... now he is ship 09 div 210 but didnt know the street name so I cant send anymore letters until I get it... he was originally on ohio street... so I am hoping someone here can help me out so I dont have to wait for a letter from him since they are few and far between :) thanks
Dear PIR groups,
Sorry I have been MIA…Hubby has been sick (bronchitis…he had it bad) and then we were getting new appliances…bookshelves (I am a bookaholic ) so LOTS of Chores!
I have some PM’s to get too…sorry for the delay…Hubby took the other “men” (our three sons” to a Guy night with Church buds so the testosterone levels have dropped and I can think now! LOL Hugs to everyone!
Sorry I typed in a hurry before and from my phone :P. Yes you have to have a family member in the military. They will ask if you are coming for PIR or just tell them you need to make a reservation for PIR. They will ask you for your SRs name (Sailor that Friday) and rank at the time of the reservation. They did not ask my son to go to the desk, but so many people saw him there with us I am sure they just figure it out, not to say that they may ask you though.
The FAQ Sheet on the Navy Lodge website states that you must have military ID to stay at Navy Lodge, or be "sponsored" by a military member with ID. For you all, be sure to tell them that you have a sailor going through PIR---which allows you in. They will ask for your sailor's name, I believe. Ellen, did your sailor ever have to show ID to the Navy Lodge after PIR?
