Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

My son was originally in a different Div and was originally going to graduate on June 22nd.. because of an injury he was set back 2 weeks.. now in Div 210 and graduating fri. Does his guest list transfer over or was he supposed to re-do list again for new Div and PIR date?

Comment by pennykarsten on July 4, 2012 at 10:05am: Happy 4th of July everyone. I can't wait to see my daughter after all these weeks of barely talking to her. However, after writing letters to her every single day, it was really special when we would get our once a week letter. Really, we onlt received 3 phone calls all in all. So, seeing her face in person after all this ime, that frankly felt like a 6 months not 2, is going to be the best holiday and bestbirthday a mother could ask for. We are from Ohio and it is a 6.5hour drive but, all well worth it. Going to try and stay as long as we can. My daughter will be playing in tthe band! I am just so damn proud of her!

I CAN'T BELIEVE THE LAST TIME I SAW HIM WE WERE CRYING ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE EACH OTHER FOR TWO MONTHS AND NOW THERE ARE ONLY TWO DAYS BETWEEN US! :D Can't wait to meet some of you tomorrow night! Anyone going to the Flanagan's Meet and Greet??
