Happy 4th everyone.   This will be the best 4th of July ever.  We will be seeing our sons and daughters graduating.   I am so excited.  God bless and will be praying for traveling mercies whether it be short or far. Looking forward to meeting y'all at Sarge's meet and greet.   :)

Thanks nssmom. Right now I receive that prayer because I'm still unsure about my son and what's going on and it's taking an emotional toll on me!

I hope your daughter gets to contact you soon....if not YOU definitely will see her Friday. Woo!!! hoooo!!! She's a sailor !!

Hope to meet ya there!

If anyone is stressing over the drive to GL from O'Hare.....YOU CAN DO IT.  This was the first time I had rented a car on my own and I have had no experience in city traffic but I did fine.

I got my car from Alamo (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD..... NOT THE ONE THAT LOOKS JUST LIKE YOUR CARD BUT HAS YOUR HUSBAND"S NAME!!!!.. ).  They were very helpful... EASY PEEZY way to get on the highwaay.. Only one toll (less than $2.00).   Good luck

If only one division went last night, there are 3 left to go.

Jmama:  If you don't get your call tonight, call PAO tomorrow morning...find out his status.  Hoping that they tell you he is a sailor.

Sharon:  A "holdover" is one that didn't get to participate in his/her own division's BattleStations (for one reason or another), or failed it the first time.

Comment by DanaVann (SHIP II Div 195) on July 3, 2012 at 6:49pm
