bvealellis - Was he in a different TG completely...or just a different Div within this TG?
Comment by purplegiraffe69 on July 30, 2012 at 12:10pm

bvealellis, that happened to another mom a few weeks ago, i think she had to call and give the initial password and then they had to give her a new one? I hope someone pipes in, because i don't even know where you call?

Does anyone know if the password is the same for everyone in DIV 247 to print gate passes. I never received the password for this DIV because my SR was in a different division at first

Good Morning everyone, Today is my baby boy's 19th birthday. It is also our Family Reunion today as well. Just what every 19 yr old wants for his birthday right? lol. My oldest son is home for the weekend as well. Just wish our Sailor could be here too. We will be spending the day with lots of family in the Pisgah National Forest so I will be away most of the day. I will be back later this evening. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday. Go out and do something fun :-) YOu can always crash our party lol.

So, Christy...in your next letter....maybe you should write:  "So...have you figured out what PIR is yet?  Of course, I know that you Navy people call it "graduation" but we have a special name for it!"  That way....he will know you are an "in the know Navy Mom"!

:-)

Lol. Thats funny. I actually called it that in a letter to him last week...trying to be an "in the know Navy Mom". Wish I could be a fly when he reads it and thinks to himself "huh????".
Comment by diannep on July 28, 2012 at 10:41am

Hmmmm.Christy. Not sure about that.  Never heard of a PIR/Bootcamp card???

By the way, did you all know that the SRs and RTC staff don't refer to it as PIR?  :-)  They refer to it as "graduation."  So if you say to your SR:  See you at PIR -- you may get a "what???" in response.  Of course, you will be so excited to watch this "Pass in Review" with your new sailors!  And you are almost there!

BattleStations start next week for this PIR group and continue during PIR week.  HOOYAH....you almost have sailors!
