Good morning....hope everyone has a great day...@ Lala have fun with your yard sale...I never have any luck with having a yard sale I hope you have better luck than I do... have fun:)
Is there such a thing as a PIR/boot camp graduation card?
Good Morning everyone, I hope you all go out and have a fun Saturday. We are having a yard sale YAY I love yard sales.....wait I love going to them, not having them ugggg!!! lol
For those that don't know what a CAC card reader is, and why it is so important to a sailor, then read "What are some great graduation gifts" above in the discussion area.
They can probably have their own irons, but remember anything they have has to be stored in a small closet space, and carried by them when they change ships or locations.
My son is at GL and sends everything that has to be creased etc to the cleaners to be done. There is an iron available in the laundry room (if I understood him correctly) to do what they need to do, like ironing hanger creases from pants before inspections etc.
Can someone fill me in on what CAC card reader is?
I got a letter yesterday it was so good to see everything is going well he said he could see the light at the end of the tunnel...Ladies 2 wks and we will be there I cant wait :)...Do any of you have SR going to A school in Texas?
Interesting question, Jmaries. Hmmmm....I feel sure they can have their own irons, but wondering if there is a community area where they have irons/ironing boards? I doubt my son did much ironing...probably paid someone to do his :-) when in A School.
Yes, you can ask on this page where an SR is going to A School and for what job.
ok, here's a silly but maybe practical question....Are the sailors-after they are at their A-school, allowed to their own personal irons? Or are they provided with them when they move into their next [barricks] are they still called barricks at school? Im still learning. :-P
Hi Stephanie, yep he sure is. Are we allowed to ask on here what our SRs are going to school for?
