Diannep ~ Thank for your clarification, I thought he meant they have to stay one more week after the PIR. I got freaked out for a minute there ;)
Justin'sMom: What he probably meant is that the lowest numbered divisions will be done with BattleStations the week before PIR...and the others will do them PIR week. So, in essence, some are finished about 5-6 days before others. But they all PIR at the same time. 2427/248 will be the last to do BattleStations. BattleStations is the end of the training.
Hi moms ~ My son said in his letter that his division is one week behind in training and that they have to stay one extra week. What does that mean?
@ Melissa, I just sent you a personal message. I didn't realize until AFTERWARD that you have a boyfriend not a son at bootcamp. Anyway, nice to "meet" you
My daughter said not to change anything and that they were just going to forward it all so they should forward it. Wonder why they are telling some to change the address and others not to.
HELP:: My son just wrote me to tell me he had to change ships because of some air conditioning problems and it's a different street number (ex: used to be 340* sailor drive now it's 341*) and the last 4 digits of the zip code are different. He has mail going to his original address but will they forward it all for him?
Good morning and Happy Friday! So Thursday was a sad day cause I did not get a letter - which I was looking forward to - However - I did get my gas bill and cell phone bill! Happy Day! ~ So far along with the electric and food bill we have gotten at least a $250 raise in our allowance! Big shout out (shout back) to other parents are HAPPY their bills are getting easier to pay!! :)
Diannep is right, those first letters can be very down but they usually get better and better as time goes by :-)
Good morning all!
T'sMom: Don't worry...many times, the letters have a "down" tone this early in bootcamp. They get much more positive as they go along!
