He may get to try again, I have my fingers crossed for you. If everyone in the DIV was calling then he may have tried to call another family member when he could reach you. If it was for info or security related then he will likely call again to get the info. I hope sprint gets that fixed quickly. And I hope he gets to try again ;-)
Justins' mom, I am so sorry! My son didn't call either. I know I talked to him earlier, but we were not allowed to "talk" only for him to ask me questions about info he needed. I am wondering if he is the one on watch, or our phone card didn't work?? I am hoping he can call again another time! so sorry about missing your call.....
Terrible thing has happend to me, I am so distraught right now.
My son called me but the call didn't get through due to the network issue, it got kicked into voicemail but he wasn't able to leave a voicemail either. When I called Sprint, they told me the network was down since yesterday. What am I to do?
Is he allowed to call again? I was so excited all day and now I can't even stop crying.
Brother division will be on the same week and training day, but as a TG there may be a couple of days difference in actual training day.
Hopefully I can explain it correctly as to why, I might not have it exact because I am trying to remember how my son explained it (he ended up in a push division). This is just an example as I do not know what division are on what days exactly for this group. :)
As they arrive at BC they are group in div by arrival, so the first divisions to be formed for this TG were 241 and 242, once full they were sent for processing and then started training ahead of the others still coming in.
Divisions 243-244 were started as soon as 241-242 were full and once complete sent to processing etc. This would put these divisions one day behind the first two divisions in training.
Some of the divisions may have all been formed at the same time like 245-248 and put through processing at the same time giving those 4 division the same training start date, but again on a different training day from the others.
So even though they may be on a slightly different training day they would still end up with the same PIR date. I hope I said that correctly and made at least some sense of it for you.
Thanks for confirming that, purplegiraffe! Makes sense now. I have an idea now when they will be doing BattleStations.
WadesMom: It will be easy for you to follow since 245-246 are on day 1-5 on M-F. So Mondays are always day 1, Fridays always day 5. I have an idea when they will do BattleStations from that too.
When my son called home on Friday, July 6, he said that day was 2-5, and that Monday would be 3-1 for Div 245. According to the schedule (on the link that was posted) he is right. He told me today he would be going in for "Classification" an it is showing to be done on 3-2. I am figuring there are different week/days for each division. Why I dont know, raally dont make sense to me since they are all graduating on the same day..
diannep, yes one of the first questions i asked was what week and day are you, and this morning he said week 2 day 5. and he does the manifest or something for the div, (something about making the schedule) and at 1700 is phone calls (if all goes well........) he also said he got a bunch of mail yesterday, but had watch so he couldn't read it, and he sent a 2nd letter, but we haven't gotten it yet.
purplegiraffe: Did your SR tell you today during his call that they are on 2-5? If so, that would be the accurate training week/day count, megan, although I know what you are talking about as I think some had determined yesterday that Monday was 3-1.
However, figuring out when they would do BattleStations would have them finishing too early with the 3-2 count. In fact, even the 2-5 has them finishing too early?
Anyone else from 247/248 have a week/day count from their SR?
Division 244 has a Discussion started up above. This is it Ship 7 Div .
I posted a reply for sam on how to edit and add the Div number :-)
DIV 247 is on week 2 day 5, they should get phone calls this afternoon (Like 5pm) if they don't get in trouble from here to there! :) my recruit just called needing info for his clearance. 23 minutes to hear his voice--I am in heaven!
