geesh, embarrassed here but I should be the one that is la-la and i haven't even had a cocktail (not that I am a big cocktail drinker but maybe I should have one and that can my excuse)
JakesMom: I bet you were thinking of Lala, who IS on vacation, like FTLW said.
Now, FTLW was left "alone" in her "house of men" yesterday...maybe they are still gone? That is sort of a vacation, right?? :-)
TimmothysMom: I don't think your envelope will be a problem. He may just have to open it in front of them, that's all. They won't read the letters!
megan: The lockbox is very small and they may run out of space. If they get lots of letters, they will either have to throw them away after reading -as my son did... :-( - or send them home to free up some space. If they do fit in their storage space, they can pack them in their seabags or send them home with you after PIR.
haha...laughing here at home by myself. Makes my night go by faster
Ha, Ha...I "toot" all the time...(sigh) still no Craig!
U R Welcome!
I am SMARTPHONELESS! Augh! Sheesh…for three days too! At least! Too funny…but I can’t pop on whenever I want to now! Double doo-doo!
then I guess I have a brain(toot) because I must have mixed you up with someone else on vacation? Oh man, I knew I was addicted to this site & getting things mixed up. anyway, you have a lot and for so many mom's. thank you
Great idea FTLW!!! More therapy (seriously)..haha. It does help to do these activities to help fill the emptiness we all feel (as newbies) and missing our future sailors too. You are a Godsend with all of your support...even when you're on vacation :)
There is a Discussion up above in the Discussion Forum with BC Questionnaires too.
What I did was look at a lot of the ones from the link you have below there Jakes_Mom and then put together my own. I printed several up and then found the questions I wanted.
I kept mine to about three pages...folded it up in thirds and then ran a pencil across the creases to make it as flat as possible so it would fit in an envelope. I did the same with the SASE...creased it real good. I don't think he had to open it in front of the RDC's...he didn't mention it anyways if he did.
