Got my son's form letter yesterday. My son's PIR date is August 10. He's on Ship 02 DIV 939. Can't make travel plans yet though. Only on one income and we're in CA. Trying to figure out a way to get there an affordable way.

We are getting thunder right now, so I think it's coming this way.  :(

We are now in rain. That still slow us down and make for a not fun beach vacation. I hope it doesn't last long. I have to drive to Orlando tomorrow to pick up my sailor. Hope her flight isn't delayed.

Lala, I was going to ask about the rain too because I saw that NC was getting a lot of rain.  Be careful!

As soon as we crossed the Fl line out started raining but it haas stopped now. I hope that storm moves away quickly.

GinaLuv:  I have a feeling that the block writing they used, where all of them write so much neater....thinking they are told that if they don't write that way, their letters are going nowhere!  I was shocked when I went to the mailbox and received my son's first letter when he was at bootcamp.  Couldn't believe that was his handwriting!

Lala, are you hitting any rain?  We have had rain all day down here in S. FL and more is expected.  Storm in the Gulf is producing lots of waves of rain!
