We will :-) I wish you could be there too. I would love to meet you. I'll be here enough so that you barley know I went anywhere lol. Goodnight/Goodmorning lol.
LaLa...I just have not had a chance to be on lately..so I am on a roll! Have a great time...sure wish I could be there!
I think I caught a little fairy on here in the middle of the night leaving goodies on group walls lol. Her name is FTLW :-) I would ask why you are up so late but it is 3:34 am here lol and I have not been to bed. I had to pack and clean so much to get done. I will be traveling all day today but I will check in with my cell phone. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. FTLW get some sleep woman :-)
Just a 'lil business!
Last names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on the N4M’s website. ( N4M’s Community Guidelines and OPSEC clickable link).
So, if your usename contains your last name and it is the same as your Recruit/Sailor, you will need to change it. If it is different, it is still not a good idea as this is a public site and anyone may read the posts…they do not have to be a member. That is your choice though.
There is the possibility of you receiving a phone call from your SR (Seaman Recruit) during the first one to two weeks after their arrival for Security Clearance info. I received mine one week after my son arrived at RTC. Had no idea it would come that fast. I'd only really been on the site for a week or two (son enlisted and was gone in three weeks...no DEP), so I had NOTHING ready! So... if your Recruit has a rating that requires security clearance information...800 Divisions, IT's, CTI's CTT's Nukes, AT's (the list goes on!), anyone that handles confidential info...have a list of referances by the phone.
This is a short business call and is monitored. No time for chit chat...but once in a great while the person monitoring the call allows a few extra minutes.
The area code for GL is "847". My security clearance call, the caller ID said "US GOVERNMENT". We have also had "PAY PHONE" reported and then area codes for the surrounding areas...so answer all...and just get rid of those telemarketers!
My SR is also Ship 07 Div 243. Just got the letter today.
I hope to meet others from the same ship(7)/division (243), but so far it's just Mona and myself.
Yes alicia24, I got my form letter yesterday. I was so happy to open that letter and have at least a little something of my SR
megan, we should know next week when RTC posts the divisions for this PIR group on their site. The last PIR group ended with Div 240, so thinking that it is very possible you are in this group.
yep. I got mine yesterday Alicia. do you know his DIV and ship #
