Good morning everyone, I am hoping for a calm day lol.... I am setting up a classroom this morning, Then taking my daughter shopping for college. Just over a week and we will be moving her into her dorm :-( I am probably going to be needing all of you for support while I am offering support to you. I hope that's okay with y'all :-)

diannep, by any chance do you know anyone who stayed at the Quality Inn? I see posts about every other place but not Quality Inn.

That may be the reason, and rules often change. My Sailor was there two years ago so a lot could have changed since then. Of maybe when I sent the cookies they were devoured by my Sailor and her friends before they had a chance to make to any room lol. Hopefully you will be able to send him food in the next phase. The 1st phase usually doesn't last long at all.

Lala  my sailor is at NAS, Phase 1 - Indoctrination - they were told no food is allowed to be shipped to them and no food is allowed in the building were they sleep. Maybe he can get food in a different phase? I don't know.  :)

aster- thanks so much for posting all that information a couple pages back. A lot of great info there. Why no food in the care packages for Sailors in Pensacola? Is that Corey Station or NAS? The reason I ask is our Sailor was at NAS and we sent her several care packages with homemade cookies and lots of other snacks and goodies and she and her friends were begging for more lol. So I am wondering if that has now changed.

Congrats, nursecat!  I'm sure you are "walking on clouds" right now!  :-)
