Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by Jose's Girl1024 on July 17, 2012 at 10:21pm: I'm new. Just added a few days ago. However, I am missing my boyfriend very much and this has been a hard few weeks. I am trying to stay busy and I'm trying to focus but all I can think about is "what is he doing" "is he okay". It is very hard especially because I have not heard from him yet. I write him everyday and let him know how my day has been and any exciting news that the day has brought. I hope he is doing well and staying strong. It is helpful to read what you all write, and to know that I am not alone. Thank you.

Comment by AMOMMSO on July 17, 2012 at 9:41pm: I am missing him today have not slept in over 24 hours I keep waiting for him to walk through front door,"HI Mom had to work late" ugh....sigh.Getting overwhelmed with the travel issues and where to start first. Can't decide fly or drive???? The finances are really tight and making really tough decisions. Its hard to make huge cuts I still have a thirteen year old at home he is not liking the changes come at us.....

Just list it as 277/278...the ladies will find it!
