Welcome to the new members here! So glad you found us!
LOVE the pik, nursecat! So cute!
Good morning all!
Please feel free to start your Division Discussions up in the Discussion Forum. You may port them individually or as Brother Divisions. Please see diannep's post below as to the Brother Divisons.
How to add a Discussion - Go to the bottom left corner of the Discussion Forum area (It's actually just above the comment box here.) and click "Add a Discussion".
Fill in the Title and any description you like.
For DIV discussion Titles a suggestion would be:
SHIP ##/ DIV ### (or you may have your Discussions as Brother Divisions and post both Divisions in the Title. Start with the odd number first SHIP ## / DIV ### and ###. They are usually on the same SHIP…but if it is different, then post that too!)
Simple as that! Then the other members from your div can reply and you can connect up even closer there.
Please, only one discussion per Division, Thanks!
Remember that you are ALL part of this TG though and to stay on the main pages to talk here too! Plus, we veteran moms mostly stay on the main pages of the groups. There are 7-8 PIR groups running at one time and so we do not get to the DF's as much. We do check them as often as we can...OPSEC rules apply there also.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the group pic nursecat!
Hi everyone! So happy to have found you all. My son left on July 5th and is Ship 9 Div 274. I am not really sure what that means. He will be staying there for A school. Are all in his group there through A school as well? Anyways, I was thrilled to have gotten my letter and to be able to finally send out letters to him. Now I need to book a hotel. Any suggestions? I need to keep busy to pass these next few weeks.
Hi Everyone,
My son is in ship 12 div 271 and PRI 08/31 so hopefully I am in the right group. Was so excited to finally get the form letter so I could mail the letters I had been writing. I didn't get the "I'm here call" cause he called his girlfriend instead which I knew he would so it was okay but glad I got the form letter. It was nice to see his handwriting and I didn't even mind the smelling shoes and socks. Anyone else in this ship and div?????
momplus: 900 and 800 divisions should have about the same number of SRs, I believe.
Brother divisions are divisions that train together.
269/270, 271/272, 273/274, 275/276, 277/278
If there are two 900 divisions in a PIR group or two 800 divisions, they would then be brother divisions. That is very rare though. Both 900 and 800 divisions do specialized training....performing, etc for the 900 group and spec ops training for the 800 groups.
Hello Helen...
I am so happy for you!..I wish my letter would come too. My son is also Ship 2 Div 942...I am wondering if I should just make my plans to travel? Thanks for your post.
