GMom/Ship 4/Div 818 ..Thank you for your post. My son is in Ship 2 Div 942 and I do believe his PIR is 8/31. I am on the west coast so it might take a while to get. I called the Ramada Inn and there was only 5 rooms left. I booked it and they said if his date changes I can switch out the dates. They also have a shuttle that will pick up at the airport and a shuttle that will take you to the base for graduation. You just have to pre-arrange the accommodations. We will be 42 minutes away from the airport to the hotel and only 4 miles from the Base. Thank you again for your post. Together we will all make it through this exciting journey!

Hi all!  My son got to GL 7/3.  Got the form letter 7/9 and the box 7/10 (today).  His PIR is 8/31/12 and he's going to be going to A school in Pensacola to be an Aviation Rescue Swimmer.  We live in Central Florida and planning our trip to GL.  So far so good.  Everything is going like his recuiter and this website said it would.  Only been a week.  Miss him tons, but his decision to go into the Navy was all his and we backed him all the way.  Already made hotel reservations at the Ramada Inn in Waukegan and looking at airfares.  Ship 4/Div 818  anyone else?

Wendy mom of 3 troops:  It is possible the 269 is in this group.  We are waiting for RTC to post the divisions for the PIR group the week before this one.  Then we will have a better idea of which ones are in this group.  Stay on here until you find out for sure!  You should be in this group or the one before this one...
