sgraham: Ok, so I'm guessing that she has not passed her final PFA because of the stress fracture in her heel? So sounds like they have put her in the FIT program. I'm a bit confused here because sounds like she needs time to heal before trying her run again. But I think what is happening is that she has finished all training but her PFA....so they would not put her back into another PIR group. That is why she would have no PIR. If they are removed from training to heal and have not completed training, then once healed----they go to another PIR group and complete training, including PIR.
So sounds like the only way she would be at PIR this Friday is if she can pass her run this week, but are they letting her try it with the stress fracture? You can try to call the Public Affairs Office and see what they say....847-688-2405
So very sorry about this...
Sending up good thoughts for the remaining divisions in Battle Stations!! We love you guys and gals!!
HELP ----- My daughter was in ship 9 / div 275 but at 7 1/2 weeks in she is now delayed due to a stress fracture in her heel. she said that they moved her to ship 4 - i dont know the division but she also said that she will graduate on the 21st of september at the earliest but that they told her that there would not be a ceremony for her. Can anyone tell me if this is true or not. Seem's like that would not be right.
They would probably run him out of div 818 if he wore it, don't ya think?
HAAA! Well, you never know? It is the 21st century! HAAA!
Good because I don't think my son needs makeup lol
Ok, second part of my message below is for the "other" Jodi (Britta)! Just wanted to clarify that!
Thanks, Jodi! We are still dealing with wind/rain here, but it should be clearing out today. Have a little yard cleanup but just a few branches. Could have been much worse so we are grateful. Hoping that it fizzles some before it hits land again, and that the west coast of FL doesn't have much damage. I heard it moved further west, which is good for the west coast. GO WEST, YOUNG MAN ISAAC!
You can send the contacts/makeup in a small box....I would send it overnight priority mail at this point just to make sure she gets it in time. A little pricey but worth it because they guarantee it to be up there in 24 hours. You have to give it time to make it through the RTC mailroom too.
diannep, glad to hear that you are alright. I was thinking about you this morning while I watched the news. t'snavymom, I hope things go alright for you also. Maybe you could leave a day early so that you are at least on your way to GL before it hits? Keeping you in my thoughts and hope it doesn't hit you too bad. Be careful on your way to GL.
Good Morning, How are our storm chasers this morning? I think you need to chase that storm right out of there :-)
