~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Jae- hang in there. Your SR was making improvements each time, that is why they did not move her to FIT until now. I don't know that she will get to call and tell you she has passed or not, but if she does she will have a chance at BS next week and still has a chance to walk in PIR. Don't count her out. She has come a long way and probably wants it pretty bad.
I will say extra prayers for her to find the strength to knock those 7 seconds off tomorrow.
Jae: She will miss BStations with her division and there are none on Fri/Sat nights...sometimes they are able to call after they pass the PFA before taking BattleStations, but many times, they can't call until after BattleStations. Next week will be "HER WEEK" to become a sailor....prayers that it will happen then!
Stanley my SR is in 339 and I got a letter but it was written at bed time so maybe your SR decided to get some sleep:) But she said they were good and things are going good for them :)
Katie, 335 hadn't done BS yet as of this afternoon. But we should get calls tomorrow.... :)
they must pass the 3rd PFA in order to do BattleStations and graduate. If they don't pass this by Wed of PIR week, they are kept in FIT to keep trying 3 times a week until they do. At that time, they do BattleStations and then head to A School. But, it sounds like with only 7 seconds to drop your SR will be able to do it! We will all be pulling for you! This info is from another post on this site!
Got my call, too! So, happy to hear " I'm a US Sailor", and an "I love you". called again, later, so we could talk! Sounds like 334 pulled together.
Did ship 14 div 335 pass their battle stations? My boyfriend never called his parents or me. Just wondering did anyone else hear news of them passin?
my son ship13 div 334 is a US Sailor He called and said US Sailor Tilly calling I am a very proud mama cant wait to see him
My Sailor Ship 12 Div 331 is officially a United States Sailor. I am one proud Mom! Go Navy!!!
