For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Oh the roller coaster continues. Travis got his rate pulled and his orders. They are not sure it's the right one for him, so he has to meet with some people and figure it all out. He's really bummed, as well as Haley. I sent Haley & Travis a cheer you up bouquet. They should get it today. I certainly hope he still gets Hawaii. There is still a 1 in 4 possibility that he will. He really wants to stay with her and she, with him. So sweet. They are both trying to be optimistic. I'll keep you posted.
Other than that, laundry today. Yes, don't be jealous, but my basket over flowith. And that not so fresh smell coming from my laundry room says it time. Lol.....
Nicole - I need to watch your link, but I'm sure it will crack me up too. Two peas in a pod, I'd say. =) Keep having fun and living life to the fullest.

Hi all.. Well not only did I get off the juice yesterday for the last time, Wat up!, but Haley gave me a date. Feb. 1st she will be flying home. Yahoo!!! They extended her due date to Hawaii till the end of Feb. so she could have 10 days leave. I will know more hopefully by the 28th of Jan. But that gives me more time to feel better and get my energy back so we can play. Yipee, Yahoo, Horrah.....
So what have you all been up too? It's awfully quite here. Nicole seems to be doing the happy dance...lol... thank! Oh and that song, groan... it will never leave my brain now. Thanks again! Lol.....
Mary - So Dereks waiting for the next step. Wow... seems like it's going by fast. Wish him luck for me. I'm sure he will do great. So your weather's been sort of crazy hasn't it? Guess what, it's STILL RAINING here. Oh surprise, surprise. I do not kid when I say we mold here. Hope you are dug out by now and thawing. Crazy weather this year.

Morning Ladies.
I hope each and every one of you had a great weekend. Mine was productive. Well... it's here. My last chemo is today and I'm excited and dreading it at the same time. Lol.... what a mixed bag of emotions. Hopefully this week I will find out when Haley is coming home too. So some really good stuff happening here. Yay.....
I'll keep this short cause I need to go get ready. Someone pick up the jabbering while I'm on the juice. AJ, Mary, Nicole.... don't fight over it, just ramble on and on like I do. LOL.....

We're watching GI Jane. SEALS just doesn't look like any fun to me at all but what do I know?
Haven't heard from my kid since he was supposed to be back in San Diego...wonder if he's in the brig! ;-) Communication is not exactly his strong suit as I'm STILL waiting on his PIR photos.
