Yup Mary, your right, you gotta be an E5 or married or preggies( which he's not otherwise he' ld be a gazillionare) . They only get BHA for all the above or if there are no barracks available. His friend in Italy has to live off base because there is no on base barracks for her.

Yay Mary! Your baby is coming home! He's such a smarty. I bet your pizza guy is going to love you! So happy... Happy, happy, happy! I love all this good news.

Donna, they can't have anything that heats up like Mary said. He said you get written up if they find it in your room. And he's gaining weight too. To much processed food. And no PT because of the heat. Gym is always packed.

Happy Hump Day everyone!

Amanda hated being charge also cause she said the food is gross. Still does. They should just have to swipe a card when they go in to eat and get charged for what they ate at the end of the month based on percentages.

Hurley- Maybe he could get one of those 2-burner electric ones. Not sure they are allowed in barracks though.

Hurley- Guess I didnt finish my other post. Once they got on deck, they had to crawl through a bunch of food that was thrown away the night before, got sprayed by water, etc. Nothing spectacular. Maybe that is why she said it is boring. Maybe I will try to post her e-mail on the other page.

Hurley- My daughter thought they could live off base once they were E-3. Is this correct or do they still have to have permission. Can't blame him for wanting a stove. Eating microwave food consistently is not that great for you. You lost so many nutrients.

Yay! A is a shellback! Congrats Donna! Really? It was a boring experience? Maybe the navy is cracking down on all the so called hazing, even though this is a right of passage done forever!

Well Matts been denied his off base living a second time. Kinda sucks cause he's wanting a stove ( Mary he's jealous of D) he's tired of microwaving all his meals. Anyway, he's hoping to pick up E5 a year from sept and then get to live off base. Only thing is he will be gone from his current base and who knows where he'll be. Probably where held have to live off base anyway!

Nicole, you have very good taste. I love them both. I'm with you on the fence, don't know which to choose. The navy ball sounds like a very nice time.

OK Shelly is still missing. We found AJ. Anyone heard from her?

Okay..so my cat thought her fake stuffed mouse was real, "chased" it around the kitchen, and continuously meowed so she could show me...what a good kitty....if only the mouse wasn't purple...with a yellow tail. haha.

Congrats to your daughter Donna! That's so awesome!
