Just received a text from Aaron! I thought they were due back tomorrow ..... but he texted me to say that the ship just pulled in ...... and that he was going to call me in a bit. Hoo Yah! Yippee! Oh Boy!
I'm running behind today ...... hoping that all of you are feelin' good and getting stuff done.
Mary, Mary, Mary! Is he home? I've been thinking about you a lot today. Have fun and update as you can.
Thinking of you, too Nicole, and your day with Christian. Have you had that snowball fight yet?
Hey Hurley - so glad that Florida is warming back up a bit. I was hoping that I didn't have to visit FL with my Colorado ski wear! And Mary is right about the 40 degree weather bringing out the shorts .... same thing in Colorado. My flip flops are never far away from me!
Iris - good to read that Haley is feeling better and hope that you are feeling strong and good yourself.
I'm hoping to hear from Aaron this weekend, as his ship should be coming back from the exercise. Can't wait to hear all about it.
Thanks for all the well wishes for the trip to Florida. And today brings us to the Fifth Day of Christmas ................. so, drum roll please ............
FIVE GOLDEN RINGS!
Hahahaha.
I do indeed love blowing things up....but I think i'd like the rush of jumping out of a helo more.
I love the AO shirts(Aviation Ordinanceman) It reads - "If you ain't ordinance...you ain't shit."
AJ -Not an official depper. Well, I mean, I go to EVERY meeting, I learn ALL the stuff, I am taking my pre- asvab this month..I mise well be, but the only thing that's missing is that signiture. I can't sign until next December, because i'm only 16. We're meeting commanding officer Kirsch on January 13th.
AIRR is Aviation Rescue Swimmer, SAR - Search and Rescue.
One of the hardest physically demanding things for females, right up there with SEALS I'd say. 22% passing rate.
Ah, it's not bad today, just was in the mis 70's so I had my windows open. Wow Mary, you didn't tell me Dereck made patty officer already! That is so great!!!! Matt's still studying for his and is not eligable till March. You have such a brain-e-ack! Who loves pizza!
I live just about 2 and a half hours south of Orlando and on the east coast AJ. have agood time at orlado with thekids! Suppose to warn up here soon.
Iris, love your chemo brain! It's all good. : ))
Awesome tree Iris .... I love Christmas trees so much .... beautiful!
Have fun in the snow tomorrow Nicole ..... and good luck with those last two exams. You are an official Depper, right? And what is AIRR? I know I should know, but I don't .... and too lazy right now to look it up.
Sleep tight all ....
Iris - Hha. Believe me, I definitely know what you're saying. He's coming over tomorrow...we may go play in the mounds of snow we have here?! If we do, I will DEFINITELY post pictures...it's gonna be CRAZY. In some way..if we go outside..it WILL endup in a snowball fight..which could be fun..since I haven't had a snowball fight in a few years!(:
I'll post a picture of my tree a little bit later on:)
Christian got pretty angry at me today because I couldn't hangout,
I had to finish cleaning my room and getting christmas presents ready! So since I get out at 10:40 tomorrow I promised him we'll hangout all day tomorrow.
I have my last 2 finals tomorrow THANK GOD! So far, I have gotten 2 C+'s on 2 of my finals. I have taken 5 so far, so that's pretty good. Have 2 more and i'm DONE.
My overall grades are ALL A's& B's, my recruiters are STOKED to say the least...and are trying to push me to go Nuke because of my grades being high. (NOOOOOOOO NUKE FOR ME!)
I want AIRR, and if that means DOUBLING what the guys do for PST, I'll do it.
Mary - I've lost track. Is it tomorrow that Dereck comes home? OMG - is it tomorrow????? I know it is imminent. How crazy excited are you getting? Let us hear from you how he is, how it's going, how you are. Wow! You must be happy, happy, happy. :)
The Navy Women Video - So cute - Thanks for sharing it.
Morning Ladies!!!
Oh so much chatter. LOVE IT!!!!
AJ - Have fun in Florida. I appreciate your thinking of my girl. I know she'd love the hugs and love knowing it came from a N4M. =) And by all means, keep posting the 12 days of Christmas. I l.ove it and your graphics are really fun. If you do see Mary - give her a "wat up" and high five for me. =)
Mary - yes I transplanted you to some other part of the country. My bad. I'm blaming it on chemo brain cause, well, I can. Ha ha ha.... Don't hate! ;-) Very cool that your son was in the video. I posted it above for easier access to those who haven't seen it. Hope you have warmed up. Crazy that you guys are colder in Florida than we are here in the Pacific Northwest. Guess what, it's still soggy. Lol..... I think I've started growing mold.
Mrs. B - Safe trip and here's to hearing you are happier at your new home. Hugs!!!
Nicole - Rawr..... go tigress! Good to see you are thinking this through and not just letting your hormones get the better of ya. Not that a hormonal relationship isn't great (yes, even in my advanced years, I can still remember those days, I mean months, actually those years. LOL.... ), it's just not as well rounded as one with a little thought. Ya know what I mean! At any rate. Have fun, live life and sing like no one is watching. Oh and a little happy dance might not be uncalled for either. =)
Hurley - Oh that's very cool. Glad you are getting to see him. I'm sure you girlfriend is just tickled pink that he'll be home soon. Isn't life just FABULOUS!!! I'm in a great mood today. The sun is actually out....... I know, everyone in Oregon is freakin out. I'm heading outside to hang light - with triple gloves on cause it's only in the 40's, but "Deck the Halls, Fa La La La La La, Ba Rum Pa Da Da, and Frosty the Snowman....." all wrapped up into one fantastic, beautiful day.
Well daylight is a burning. Oh, Haley is feeling better. They swabbed her throat and said it looked viral. They gave her some pain pills and told her to take it easy. She's almost done with the hard mods and is looking more rested. Thanks for all the good thoughts and well wishes for her. Hate it when our babies are sick. That'll never change. =)
AJ - you said your last words were suppose to be 'oh dear' but you know, 'on dear' is keeping with the whole Rudolph theme, so it works. =)
Love to you all. Hope you are all enjoying this Holdiay Season.
Hugs!!!!
