Oh Hurley! I was so excited for you to read that Matt surprised you coming home yesterday. That must have been the best day, and you get him for a long weekend too! Amazing, wonderful, fabulous, perfect!

LynB - are you out there? How was that last can of Libby's pumpkin pie? I got a smile out of that one.

I imagine many of you are out shopping til you drop - so hoping you are finding some great deals. Be safe, be warm, be happy wherever you are.

I'm posting this message for Iris who is having some trouble getting her message to post.

Happy Thanksgiving Ladies! May today bring smiles and laughter, love and hugs to each and every one of you.

I'm thankful for your friendship, support and sharing your life experiences with me. I'm also thankful for all of our military personnel, past, present, retired and active, for every sacrifice they have made, I say thank you!

Hugs to all of you on this special day!

Happy Thanksgiving ladies!

Sorry it is so late but boy did I have a busy day yesterday and today. I thought I posted yesterday but I guess it didn't post. I had to cook for 15 people, all my kids and thier inlaws. Was up till midnight last night and then up again at 6 to pop the turkey and all in the oven. Talked to Matt and he wsaid he was helping some other guy move in. He would eat at the Galley today for Turkeyday. Then he call me this morning to wish me and hubby a happy Thanksgiving and Anniversary (32 years). I was feeling so blue ithout him. I just couldn't understand why he didn't drive the 4 1/2 hours last night to eat with us and then leave tonight for work tomorrow... and then, just as we were getting ready to sit down and eat, the door flys open and in walks Matt saying "it's about time you got the food on the table". Oh my god, I just could not believe he was home. and not just for the day but until sunday! I guess they stand down and being he isn't done being proccesed he got to leave until work on monday. I wanted to cry. It truely was the best day and surprise for me, also tomorrow is my Birthday and this was the best present I could have. He did warn me that he really does not think he will be coming for Christmas and he will have to work because MA's still work. They still gaurd and potrol. But hey, its all good. My husband is off for 2 weeks then and we will just bring all the food up to Matt with a tree and all, a little Christmas. I am in heaven right now, I love my kids!!!!!!

Hi Girls! it's been awhile....i still read and keep up though. Glad to hear the happy health reports! yeah!
aj, you certainly have a way with words. have you ever thought about writing a book? you would be great! you can drive to okla and eat tgiving with us! you can catch me up on all the stuff going on in colorado. miss the place but not the snow! ha!
Mrs B...definitely listen to what AJ has to say....it's exactly what i would have said! and like Mary said, let your OB/GYN in on what is going on. alot of it could be your post-partum issues. i was more like that with my first than i was the others. i remember going to the bathroom and bawling. hubby asked what was wrong and i told him to leave me alone. then he called my MOM (ugh) to find out why i was crying! i think she explained it to him a little and after that, he just let me have my space and let me heal with time. Keep working on it....i will get better! AJ used my favorite verse "this too shall pass". it will......really!!
Mary, cute pic! he sure looks happy! thats great!

ok...today i am thankful for my friends here on n4m's!! you girls rock! i am also very thankful for our military and all who serve (especially those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to keep us free).

LynB, hope your tgiving is fun! i think it would be cool to show other people about american traditions. the cornbread thing is funny!
