Hi Ladies ... have to be super quick today. Having my father-in-law and his girlfriend over for lunch, so lots to do yet.

I got my results - NO LIVER TUMOR!!!!!! I do have a cyst on my ovary but that's no big deal. I go back onto all my drugs Monday. After tomorrow, only 4 more to go..... Will be chatting with Haley today at 1500 so Monday afternoon I'll give you all the latest.

AJ - You are so wonderful! Hugs right back at ya.

Gotta go, but keep writing and I'll have a nice long email on Monday to you all. =)

Good Sunday morning to you extra special ladies!

Hurley - it is great to hear that Matt is doing so well and is happy at Kings Bay. I hope you had a wonderful visit with him and I know it passed too quickly.

Iris - Keep smilin' baby - we are all here with you, waiting to hear those good and healthy results from your CT. Can't you just feel the love here for you every time you log on?

Aaron's ship came in on Friday night at 5:00! He moved onto the ship that very night. He said it is quite a bit bigger than he had imagined and that there are a hundred passageways to learn (I imagine he'll learn the one to food the first!). He is glad to finally be on the ship and not in TPU (temporary placement unit). For the USS Boxer, there is a Careline phone number that is randomly updated with a message that you can listen to with info on the ship. Just know that once your Sailors arrive at their respective ships/sub/etc, there is probably one for each of them -- so ask. That is what I did and just kept checking all week since we knew the ship was coming in. We also know the date he is to deploy again and that seems to help. Knowledge is so powerful.

I wish I lived near enough to any of you to join you for Thanksgiving - I'd just invite myself on over - I don't have any family here in Colorado, so it will be a very strange day indeed. I think to honor the spirit of Thanksgiving, I will come on here each day through Thursday and express one thing that I am grateful for. I'll start with one this morning that has previously been expressed here, but one that is astonishingly strong and so very important to me -- I am deeply grateful for you ladies and all that you have brought to the table here in our group. You have provided a feast of companionship, hand-holding, laughter, oh my, the laughter ..... courage, inspiration, cheers, and most of all the biggest and best hearts around. I am grateful for you and I am privileged to share these intimate days with you. Big hugs to you this Sunday morning before Thanksgiving. Gobble, gobble.

Hey all, Matt's doing well up at Kings Bay. He really likes it there. He needs to get his cable hooked up and all but managed to get a few chanels with an antena. He won't be coming home for TG. But that's ok.

Iris, I am happy you are feeling good and I pray for you every night escpecially for your results on your CT. Your smile alone could wipe any sadness from ones face... it does for me. : ))

OK, didn't win the lotto yet! Need new numbers ladies! 10

Morning Ladies... so sorry, yesterday was BUSY!!!

Hurley - My heart goes out to you. Friday morning... so soon. Time does fly when you have your Sailor home with you. Hugs for the parting. I know it will be tough. I had to laugh at the dixie cup thing, I thought it was a jock strap/cup thing too. And when you wrote "he handed it to me to wash" I was going ....ewwww! Lol.. but being a mom I thought, yeah I'd wash it. Cody is doing fine. Not injury. His car looks to be repairable. He will have to buy all the parts from the junk yard and repair it himself to make it worth it. Today he road the bus to school, so I didn't need to drive him. It took them a few days to get him on there schedule again.

Mary - I'm here, I'm here. =) Yeasterday was soooo... .busy but fun. I took Cody to school, then went to the post office to ship my cookies to Seattle for the ship that is coming in welcoming party. Then I had coffee and a yummy treat with my friend Karen (who's birthday was that day) and then she took me into the hospital to have my port accessed. I then drank my tasty, tasty contrast for my CT and then went in for that. After that was done, then I came home a prepared for our house guest (Cody's friend David) who's home is being remodeled by a local contractor (like Extreme Makeover only with a much smaller budget). Then my friend Julie from Pennsylvania called me (we've been friends since High School) and we chatted for an hour. The boys came home and I started to make dinner then thought I needed to go chat with the hubby since I was on the phone when he came in. Well... chemo brain... I accidentally turned on the pan with butter on high and then left. When I came back in, I had flames shooting up to the exhaust on the stove and thick smoke in the kitchen. I put salt on my grease fire (old hand at that.. yes, this has happened before) and then opened all the windows and called my husband on the intercom that dinner would be a little longer than I told him cause I had a little fire. Lol.... my family just rolls with it. I'm still trying to clean that pan. It was my nice All Clad saute pan. Nooooooo...... So that was my day in a nutshell. That's why I only posted a tiny bit. Didn't have my morning like I'm use to.

So the CT results will be in either today or Monday. Fingers are crossed that it will be nothing and I won't need more STUFF to be done to me.

Sunday Gene's Dad (my husbands Dad) and his girlfriend will be down for dinner. I believe I'm making 3 cheese manicotti, ceasar salad, and a good baguette bread & butter. Then we are Sypeing with Haley at 1500. I haven't chatted with her for a few days. Having withdrawls. =)

Well, that's all I've got. Hope you all have a lovely, lovely Friday and Weekend.

Hugs to you all and warm thoughts.

Opps, sorry Iris, forgot to ask, how is Cody? He is ok right? With for sons under my belt and many (I mean MANY) minor accidents, in the end it's only a car and can be replaced. Hope all turns out well for the new one and he can chalk it up to a leason learned... although my guys needed to be reminded a few times after their first accidents.

Mary, the Dixie Cup is their White hat. It looks like a dixie cup hence the name, hehe. I put it on delicate/hand wash and then put the dry table thingy in my dry so it sat the correct way to dry it and it came out great. Haha and yes, I've had to wash those things too when the boys were younger and in sports!
