Morning Friends !!

Hope this finds you all well. Thank you all for Roberts good wishes. He is doing pretty good. Today was the first time he's had any pain so he is home from school. Gave him one of his loritabs and he slept for awhile. Seems to be doing better now. If it was me, Id be crying in the pain !! He is my hero !!
Mrs B....TJ is just adorable. How are you adjusting to motherhood ? So glad you didnt give birth at the Meet N Greet lol. Send more pics when you can
Sorry that the ball didnt work out so well Iris. I hope she can attend the Marine Ball. :)
I do hear from D almost everyday. By text for sure and on weekends , calls. He has been studying, studying, studying. He's had two tests and test 3 is this Friday. His GF is coming up to see him this weekend, so thats good that he can look forward to that. They have to stay on base as he isnt up to the point I dont think where they can leave...I may be mistaken though.
Everything else here is pretty much the same. Marching band competition season is in full swing. We have one big competition here in the area on Sat and then the following weekend out to East TN. Looking forward to going away for the weekend with our best friends and seeing all the beautiful fall colors.
Hope you all are having a wonderful week !! Sending hugs !!

Mrs. B your baby is absolutely precious!!! He's so handsome:) I hope all is going well now that your whole life has been expanded.

Hi everyone-I enjoy all the posts, especially the one from Maureen with the good news that surgery went well. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I like seeing color with all this black and white. Some day I'll learn how to post some.

Mary - I suppose I'm lucky that she isn't like me in that sense. I burnt the candle at both ends with socializing. Lol... I really enjoy people and doing stuff and I'm not one to sit home. H. is perfectly happy to knit, read, nap, cook, etc.. we have always described her as an old sole (?looks funny, is that spelt right?) Anyhow, I'm always torn with not wanting to change her, but still wanting her not to look back with too many regrets. As you say, you are only young once. =)))

Maureen - So happy your son's surgery went well. Aren't kids just amazing at how quickly they bounce back? St. Louis looks like fun. Hope you are having a great week this week. =)

Teaparty - Hiya! Happy tuesday back at ya. =))))

Mrs. B - He is definitely a keeper. Cutie Pie!

Nicole - keep smiling and give em hell.

Mary - good morning and Happy tuesday.

Keep popping back on everyone, I'd hate to see this site dwindel and die. Booo.... Hiss....

Hope you are all getting great communication with your sailor. Mine had to reschedule a skype yesterday because she wanted to go to the mall with some friends. Yay!!! She's never been a social butterfly so I was like, "Hell yeah, we can talk tomorrow. Go have fun!". Now I'm anxious to hear how it all went.

The Navy ball didn't go well. They didn't bring their dresses to the ball and had to go back to change and the marine driving them got lost so they didn't end up having time to change and get back to the dance. It was only an hour of dancing, kind of lame to do that. Anyhow, she's planning on trying to go to the Marine Ball in November. She said it will probably be way more fun. =)

Well, need to go shower and be productive or just clean. Lol... Have a fabulous day ladies. Hugs to all!

Hello Friends
Mrs B...Congrats on the birth of your son. I know you and hubby are just thrilled. Nothing like a son for a mom.
Sorry that its been awhile since Ive written. Roberts surgery went so well, we were so pleased. Robert had his surgery on Tuesday afternoon and was out of the hospital on Wed afternoon. He was just up and ready to go !! Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes.
