Morning Ladies. I'm friending you all just as fast as I can on FB. If I miss you, message me your email address since mine seems not to work. Anyhow, I just think you guys are the only ones who can totally relate to my whining since we've been through it together (a lot less explaining to do, don't ya know).

Mary - yeah, I'm not sure I'm ready for big girl panties. Do you know what you call men's briefs - manties. Lol... Gotta love that!

Well, I'm off to Oktoberfest. It's pouring rain but the company is superb, so it should be a great day visiting. And tonight I skype with my daughter.

Have a fantastic Sunday everyone.

Good morning - what a treat to wake up this morning and find that some have returned here and there were 2 pages to read! - joy oh joy - I for one will continue to check in here and stay in touch. I do think our days of holding hands is not yet over - only different. I've joined a couple of other groups, but it just doesn't feel the same yet and maybe never will.

My older son calls you guys my 'sorority girls' (he is just finishing college). And he is still looking to enlist and go to OCS or AOCS (not sure yet which one).

My e-mail address is ajangela@mindspring.com

Have a wonderful Sunday wherever you are, whatever you are doing. :)

My son was g and g, but not everyone in his division was. I thought it depends on what A school they are going to.

It varies I think Sherry, The DIV'S varie..he will not know until like...a few weeks before PIR most likely. Chances are since he's going to FL, he will be g&g, but I can't confirm that, just my best guess.

Do any of you remember which Divisions were Grad N Go. My daughter's beau will be going to Pensacola for A school after PIR, do you think he will be a Grad N Go. How soon before PIR do you think we will know. Thanks and God bless

Glad to hear everyone feels like me. I check in this morning and thought, well it's over now. We're still going to need each other when carrier, submarine, ship and overseas duties are assigned. Plus we have a baby on the way... any news yet. When I went to the big Nex in GL I bought the cutest baby sailor outfit and blanket for our pastor's son's baby. Did anyone else see them?

I'm still here. I too figured things would taper off. Hope everyone is having lots of contact with their Sailors. I know I'm really enjoying this phase in training. I'm installing Skype so we can see each other as we talk. Can't wait to use it.

Hi Ladies! i hear crickets in here! I had a feeling it would dis-band fairly quickly. I think that was one of the reasons I bawled most of the way home. Having to say goodbye to my son and alot of my new friends. It just sucks!
