Thanks Stacie! Can't wait to hear from everyone who attended. I talked to my son immediately afterwards and couldn't understand why he said "I managed not to faint". There was fainting? Bless their hearts - those poor kids who had just gone through BS must have been utterly wiped out. They sort the divisions by height so my kid was in the back and said he didn't see much of the ceremonies that went on up front.

I've gotten one photo and he has a rather wry expression, but I must say does look fantastic in the uniform. I'm still dying for him to get in a spot where he can get on Skype and we can have a nice long chat.

Still floating on cloud 9 here too, although it was hard to go down to breakfast this morning and see everyone with their new Sailors.....A had to leave during the night for Pensacola. Every minute spent with that boy was so worth the trip though!

I can't say enough about the bond I have with my N4Mom ladies. I can't imagine Mike and me not having you guys to share this experience with...I look at the people here who don't have this bond and kinda feel sorry for them...LOL. It seems everywhere we go, we run into a mom/dad we know! It is awesome! Helps by having a lot of us at the same hotel too.

Newmom - I don't have pics of the choir but they were AMAZING. You should be very proud.

I must agree. My husband is 28, and he even has a new spring in his step. And I'm soo happy for that!

Yes, LynB! My son, too. You can just see this new confidence in the way he walks, speaks, etc. It is hard to say goodbye again but so much easier seeing just how happy he is. He's lit up from within!
