Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Kathy - no I'm driving with my aunt I think..I may pass on the driving though...school wore me out, I'm thinking cat nap?
Craig - They are the coolest toilet seats ever. My family looked at me soo goofy when we were flying home from texas and I ran outta the bathroom with this shocked look on my face, and they were like what?! I told them..they had THE coolest toilet seats in the WORLD! and they told me i was weird. LOL

Comment by Donna-Amanda's mom on September 9, 2010 at 4:18pm: Got the call from my daughter just as we got off the plane. Connection was bad and couldn't hear each other. I did get I'm a Sailor". Said she would see me tomorow since we couldn't hear each other. She called 5 different times trying to hear me. Just what I needed to hear today. As we were leaving Seattle, my ticket was for yesterday. Had to buy 2 more tickets to make it hear. Worth every penny. Finally we are all done and happy. HooYahhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

Comment by Mrs.B_Div 302_Ship9 on September 9, 2010 at 3:33pm: once you get past the main part of Chicago, it'll go faster! When I first moved to the Chicago area, I lived literally 3 miles from O'Hare...the traffic was ridiculous! But once you get north, you're good!
