JUST GOT MY CALL! Proud MaMa of a SAILOR! He sounded so tired! Did not get details due to being at work and not wanting to get in trouble for talking on my cell! But, he said all is well, said he was off to get a hair cut. I hope he will call back tonight. I can breath now!

This waiting is driving me nuts! I hope the call comes today. I am getting more and more excited to leave. We fly out on Thursday morning to GL. We have chosen to stay in Gurnee Mills so hopefully it is as nice as everyone says. I wish all of you a safe trip. See you there.

I can't get anything done. This is eery silence. The longest night ever!

Happy Tuesday ladies. I feel like I am on pins and needles. HELP! I just can't wait for that call. I know some of you are on your way to GL. Be safe and take lots and lots of pictures. I wish I could meet a lot of you, but Travis's second mom and his uncle will be there. Travis has asked the the majority of the family that live in Florida visit with him in Pensacola. RING, PHONE, RING.

Prayers going up that your phones will ring around 3 p.m. (EST) like ours did last week. It was nice because I rec'd a letter that day and was sitting at the kitchen counter reading it when call came in! So ladies, you might want to stalk the mailman one more time just in case they wrote! I have errands to run and carrot cake to bake along with husband having a funeral this afternoon. Then, a few more errands with husband and meeting our daughter for Mexican food before her night class at college. I promise I will check in this afternoon in-between all of this to see how many of y'all are HOO-YAH 'ING!

Sara: I agree with Michelle. I didn't bring my son any civies either...although some take some civies for them to wear in the hotel room if they like. That is the only place they can wear them...full uniform is required when outside of hotel room. My son never even asked me to mail his civies to A School...he stayed in uniform for the first few weeks and then just bought enough civies to get him by. Once he came home on leave, he took a few more back with him to his duty station. But I would say more than half of his clothes are still here! They have very little storage space, so I guess he figures he doesn't need many. I would bring something comfortable for him to wear in the room.
