Wouldnt it be nice if they video'd our kids when they went through the Cap ceremony. Would love to see it.
Will have candle burning till ALL get done with BS !! Those of you that may be travelling today , have a safe trip.
I have a kazillion things to do today but will pop in whenever I can and surely after I get the CALL !!!

2 calls from GJ on Sat. He sounds really good! BS started on Sunday. He said he would be calling today "Sailor" call. I have my cell on my desk waiting the call. At Graduation on Friday. My son will be one of the guys holding the doors open for the Admeral etc. to wal thru. He said his uniform will have the ascot and the braid. Also he said he lost 50 lb. Went in at 236 football weight 21 percent body fat. Now 186. He said no love handles. Please post if anyone gets their calls. I am on pins and needles. He said they gave them 2 hours liberty on Sat. First time they got to go to the food court. He wanted pizza but they were out. He ate Taco Bell. I have to get to work now. Cant wait for my call. I so know I am going to get in trouble for talking at work today. LOL

Stacie: No limit on number of gate passes per recruit. But is she listed as one of the 4 guests on his sheet? If not, she needs to be with your group to get in and she may have to wait until others are seated to go into the hall. If her name is on the list, then driving by herself should be ok.

Didn't sleep here either. God bless them all. I hope this day goes by fast until I get the call from my boys. I bet my work will be wondering If I have lost my mind when they see me jumping up and down and crying at the same time. GL bound tomorrow!!!

I slept very little last night... Blue candles burning and prayers being asked. Less than two and half hours to go. God bless our soon to be Sailors.

Oh, I had one more thing to share. We needed a place to store Kristyn's laptop and cell phone for a few days until she got moved to A school. There is a place called Lock & Go. It is close to the commissary, across the street from Burger King. Within walking distance for our sailors.

It is kind of expensive, (i think) $7 per day or $40 for the week, but it is convenient. The number is 847-578-0161 www.thelockandgo.com
