Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Prayers still being lifted for 303, 304 and 943. It is 12:40 a.m. Central ..... my son doesn't do BS until tomorrow night .... but I still can't sleep .... we are all in this together. Can't wait to hear about your calls tomorrow and I will be here celebrating with you!

Ladies,
I did PIR last weekend, and wanted to pass along a bit of information that I was not aware of. Some of the toll booths are manned and they will take a $1, others are not and you must throw in the change amount. The two we encountered, one was .80, the other a dollar, but make sure you have change, and singles.
I am from Oregon and this was my first experience with that, maybe you all are aware of these things, but I wasn't. Good luck, enjoy your sailors. I already miss my daughter, and want to hug her again.

Oh gosh you guys are blowing up my email! GO 303, 304, & 943!!! Blue candle - lit! ;] I'm sure they will make it no hits just like 301 and 302. Hold on to your pants for that phone call. :]
With C, he sounded awful and wonderful at the same time. If that's even possible. He was sick, tired, and so excited. :]

Oh Cyndi, if only that would work with my Sammy. Have you ever had a big ol' loveable dog that just couldn't stay away from you? Say that big ol' loveable dog got sprayed by a skunk and was even more wanting to be in your face. That's Sam. He is like a smelly skunky dog in the rain. There is no shooing him away. Not that he smells like a skunk. He's very clean, as far as small boys go. But just that attitude of must have you now and the more space you want the closer I'm coming.

You've come to the right place then, that's for sure, because tomorrow I will be crazy. I just went a little crazy when Sam blew out my blud candle. I grabbed him like a psycho mom and not because he was in danger but rather because I felt like he was ruining BS. Irrational Crazy Lady, party of one?
