For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I've been thinking about how the first couple weeks felt like it was eternity until I got to see him again. And when people said it gets easier, I thought they were wrong. I couldn't possibly fathom that it indeed would get just a touch easier. The absence of them is what get easier. I still miss him everyday, and think about him often. But now that we are 6 days away from being able to hug them, I feel like we should still have 3 more weeks...lol. Sure glad the recruiters gave me this website so I could know that what I was feeling and going through was normal, and that I wasn't crazy. Because it was normal to be so sad! I love N4M!!!

Congrats on 301&302 Passing Battle Stations Congrats to those that won Captains Cup, Have a great weekend, looking forward to the rest of the Divisions that are going into Battle stations this up coming week.

It's got me in the final stretch...now I absolutely cannot wait til C is DONE with BS21..and gets that call home...then I can see him...too simple? Lol. I foundout from his mom that it is PERFECTLY FINE that I spend the weekend with them!!!!!!:D Gosh I am so excited.
I am leaving bright and early tomorrow for southern illinois - decided for labor day I wanted to go on a horseback expedition weekend, so i'll be out riding and enjoying the summer/fall weather!!! i'll check back on here though...i've become addicted!!!!!!!!!!!

QUESTION- does anyone know if we'll still get letters in this final week?
