For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Yes me too. I have my coffee and I am just...waiting. Haha. Maybe a shower is in my future. Until then, Navy for Moms, the news, my pajamas, the phone, and my coffee is all that is in my life. Haha!

Michelle - you deserve the break. Don't feel bad. If you are healthy that makes you a much better mom. G. will understand, I'm sure he's just missing all of you. Make a video of the little he can watch in the hotel or something like that.

Of course we can't actually TELL them that is where we're going - we'll have a revolt on our hands. They sure miss their big brother. He wasn't all that happy with our decision to leave them either. But two more airfares and ten times the work/aggravation just seemed to make sense. Plus how can I get all silly and dance on the tables at the M&G when I have small children to be responsible for???
