For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

just want to send my congrats to all the sailors in 301 and 302 and to all the families of these wonderful new sailors!! I know everyone is getting so excited and making their plans for PIR next week!! We are so excited and can't wait to get that phone call on Tuesday! My brother in law makes me feel awful about moving because he will be lonely here, haha. Poor kid. He was so upset when C called today and he didn't get to talk to him because he was at school. :[

Kathy - I totally understand that bond. Mine is reversed. My daughter is the oldest and my son, really misses her. Today I put him on the phone when she called back so they could talk. He smiled ear to hear. =) Priceless to me.

I have enjoyed keeping in touch with my son KJ and his bunkmate best buddy K.W. One of the funniest thing I did was print out a combo meal from IN-N-Out the boys miss it the burgers dearly. Put it in KW letter to give to my son as a joke, my precious KJ was thrilled and one night shared it with his Div. KW had a great time laughing at him. Aaaaww miss them so. Everyone have a good night Blessing from above to all.
