It really wasn't his fault...the man in charge of them was already screaming at them and yelling, telling them to hurry up and that they didn't need to tell their families good bye. They'd put Paul in charge of 5 of the guys, to make sure they made it to the gate at the airport, so he had to hurry extra fast. He gave me a nice hug tho!!!

Feeling for all of those moms and recruits shipping out today and this week .... God bless them all ...... I wouldn't want to relive that day ever again ...... brutal.

Mine was supposed to have left the 14th but got cancelled during swearing in. Her official date became the 19th. Tuesday will be her one year.

Out of our group, we had a few leave today:  Dereck, Paul, Haley, and Aaron.  Anyone else for today?  Sorry you missed that kiss goodbye last year .... and now you get to kiss him everyday!!!

Mrs. B --- I was just looking at your website for your diaper cakes .... looking forward to seeing a picture of one.  Cute idea .... hope it goes really well for you!

Well, today is an emotional day for me... as it is for everyone! Today is the day my hubby left for boot camp... I was 5/6 months pregnant and he only had 2 seconds to tell me good bye. The guy was really rude, so I really never even got a kiss... ughhh. I know it's all over now, but for some reason it still bothers me.

I am praying for all the Sailors and I hope you ALL hear from them soon. Blessings~

Haven't heard from my daughter again since last week. Sounds like they have gone into RC. She doesn't tell me anything. I find out everything on the Reagan site from other moms. Their sailors sure do keep them informed ahead of time. Mine is totally clueless or she is just afraid of saying anything and getting in trouble. Last e-mail was nothing but the guys name so I could look him up in the cruise book. She said they are dating but must only be at port as they are not allowed to have any relationships aboard the ship. Seems weird.

AJ- Nice to have y ou back.

Shelley- Congrats to seeing yo ur sailor tomorrow.

Hurley- Hope things are ok and improving.

Iris- So jealous you get to skype with your daughter all the time.Have had a 2 min. conversation with mine since Feb. She did try to skype once and I took the grandkids to the beach and missed it.

Nicole- So close. Excited for you.

Hello all!  My nephew and his girlfriend left this morning .... so I should be back on more routinely.

Iris - today is the day that Aaron left too .... it definitely is stirring up the emotions .... and it doesn't help that I haven't heard his voice since late March and haven't seen him since November ..... here comes one big momma SSSSS----IIIII-----GGGGG-----HHHHH.  I'd give just about anything to hear his voice and see him even on Skype.  So glad you guys are hearing from your great Sailors.  Glad to read how much you are enjoying your derby gals and events.

Wow! Shelley .... Dyl's is almost home.  I cannot wait for that day.  Yay for the big E tomorrow!

Mary - Here is another "You were so RIGHT" ...... sure hope it doesn't cost you a huge amount of money and aggravation.  I hope he helps you to be part of the solution.

Nicole - very cute dress ...... you will look amazing.  Wish I could still pull those off.  Yay for being done with English .... and Yay for getting so close to PIR.

Hurley - okay girl ..... what's up?  Thinking of you, praying for you, sending loads of good healthy vibes your way.  Tell us what you can when you can .... and until then, know that we are with you.

Donna - romance?!?!  A little pep in her step must feel kind of good about now on that ship.  I'm sure she is looking forward to that food arriving ..... it does sound like things go from bad to worse during the deployments.

I've got to do some more reading to be caught up completely, but wanted to write this quick note.  Will write more on FB.  Hugs!

Ok - Hurley - How are you? I seriously don't like the sound of "health issues". Please keep us posted. Sending good vibes your way. =)

Donna - How the romance going? Is she eating better now too?

Dyl's Mom - TOMORROW!!!!  Enjoy his voice. =)

I skype with Haley today at 1600. I will get the boyfriend update, work update, fun update, and what's new update. Lol....  Been a busy derby week. I've been there everyday this week so far. Tuesday was New Skater day and I took someone. Wednesday was Scrimmage and I took someone new. Today is practice and Friday will be a day off, only to come back on Saturday. Whew! Glad I love this stuff. Unfortunately I have nothing exciting to add.

Hope everyone has a lovely Thursday. Stay cool if it's warm and warm if it's cool and most importantly - Rainbow's, Sunshine, and Lollipop's!

Morning  Ladies -

Mary - I would LOVE a tutu. =) Happy 1 year to you too. Today was Haley's shipping off to boot camp day. Wow, brings back memories and emotions. 5 years is a long time so he may go back and forth depending on what he is doing. I'm not worrying about it till it's re-up or get out time. So you were right again (car issue). This is the only place you will probably hear those words cause men refuse to admit when they are wrong. Dumb asses. Anyhow, good luck with getting the tracker back home. And did I mention, YOU WERE RIGHT?! Lol....

Nicole - you are gonna look so pretty. He won't be able to take his eye's off you. I figure that was your evil plan all along. =) Get through those papers so you can quit thinking about them and concentrate on the fun stuff.

Okay - I'm going to go back a few pages to see what I missed and post again.
