Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Dyl's Mom- That is funny but his name is not Daniel. It is James. He must not be able to cook either since she finally broke down and asked for food, any food she didn't care.

That is so cool that his ship is coming in. I thought I just read an article posted that it would be on the 27th. The sooner the better so let's say the 15th. Are you going to meet the ship? Can't wait to go meet mine's.

Nicole- Keep up the good work. It is really paying off for you. Not much longer for your big trip either, is it?

ok, so how funny is it that dereck's friend is a bad cook on the reagan and that's where amanda is!  omg!  i sure hope he learned to cook!  so where is the reagan right now donna? keep us posted on the romance!  :)    the big e is pulling into florida tomorrow to pickup the tigers and should be home on the 15th!  woo hoo!  i can't wait to get a call from dyl's!  it's been two months since i've heard his voice.  i sure miss it! 

nicole, i'm excited for you!  reminds me of what we were going through almost a year ago.  are you in summer school or taking extra hours?  glad it's almost done for you.

iris..you sure are a busy bee!  i don't know how you keep up with it all.  i'm glad the roller derby thing is working out for you.  it sounds like your having a blast and it's made you happy!  that's the important thing. 

it's been sooooooo stinkin' hot here it's unreal!   sat was 110 degrees and i think the news said we're on day 14 or 15 of 100 plus.  they think we'll beat the 22 day record....oh joy!   anyhow, it really zaps the energy right out of you and after i get home at night and walk yogi, i'm beat!  feel like an 80 year old!

mary,  post some pics of your tu tu's!   i be they turned out cute!   when does d get to come back home for a visit?

hurley, hope your feeling ok?!   hopefully things will calm down for you and you can get some rest.  how are the boys doing?  keep us posted......

i saw a story about the navy having to cut their forces.... scary.    i can't believe they're still graduating alot of divisions while they have to cut back?  i don't get that one.....

Not terribly busy today.

But it's been a good day.

4 more days of english class,

I have 3 more essays to turn in, and I passed my exit exam, which was pass or fail.

I have to pull at least a C to pass the class now, which hopefully won't be an issue. Down to 16 days!!

Mary- She is on the Ronald Reagan. Dyl's is on the Enterprise. I went shopping yesterday and sent her 3 boxes of food for the microwave.
Nicole- Great to get an update from you.
Iris-An RN and I both have that shirt. We worked on the Oncology floor and would wear it to work(under our lab jackets of course). We would share it with certain patients.
