If you could all please imagine........ME DOING AN 18 DAYS DANCE(: WOO WOO WOO WOO WOO WOO WOO!!!!!!!! Weeeee!!!:)

Enjoy your derby bout! You kinda make me wanna join up somewhere around here! I used to skate every friday and saturday for YEARRSS. Sounds fun:D

Anyways- downtime=UPDATE!

Yesterday my friends Kourtney and Kaitee invited me to go have a girls night- Kaitees boyfriend Cody came along, and Codys friend Tim. Then us girls were gonna stay at Kaitees and play just dance. So we all went to this place called Incredible Pizza, it's got all these games and food and yeah, well, it ended up being extremely sucky. Besides minigolf, i got 4th out of 5 people because i was so hyper i couldn't sit still to hit!!!! Lol. But we got done around 10, and the guys left, then we headed to kaitees, played just dance on her kinect...then kourtney recorded it. Lol.

Her mastiff dog headbutted me in the face, and her puppy drooled alllll over my leg. We fell asleep, woke up and Koutrneys ex boyfriend tagged our cars, yes with window markers, mine wasn't bad, because he knows my temper and how much i HATE him. Tagged hers saying forgive me and i love you and all that junk, and tagged kaitees with a penis on it!!!!!! So we speed washed their cars because they had to go coach a little kids softball game. Ridiculous!

mary- grilled cheese story = PRICELESS(:

aj- good to hear from you!!!:)

anyone i missed - now it's time to go clean, i will be back later though, enjoy your saturdays!:)

Morning!!  Really quick... today is Derby bout day so I'm BUSY! Not sure I'll have pics to post cause I'm kind of going as a spectator. Anyhoo... AJ WELCOME BACK. Glad you are having fun. No you didn't miss any pics of me yet cause I'm always behind the camera. I'll try to get something soon. Basically I look like boobs on stilts. My legs are long and adding skates just sort of emphasizes it. Lol... My hubby got me the best shirt for my 1 year cancer anniversary. Forgive my potty mouth (this is very derby) it says "Fuck Cancer" with a big pink ribbon in the center. I thought it was great. I'm wearing it to my next all members practice.

Mary the ID case sounds like a great idea. I have no idea what Haley needs or wants anymore. She told me the other day though that she won't be home for Christmas. They have a black out period because they are moving. Not sure where, but everything has to be dismantled and set back up, then she comes in to problem solve and contact everyone to make sure all the lines are functioning properly. HUGE undertaking. She's not looking forward to it.

Donna - 2 emails - AWESOME! Sorry she's not eating well. Oh.. ship romance. Hope you get some info soon. At least she has something nice going on while she's out there.

Well, it do need to run.

I will comment more when I can. Nicole, Mrs. B, Donna, Dyl's Mom, glad to hear you are all doing well. Nicole, you are under 20 now for the countdown. Woo Hoo... Mrs. B - your Mom's coming, that's just RadSauce., Donna - thanks for hunting down our AJ for us. Dyl's Mom - enjoy your son being single cause the who heart ache thing, especially in our tough men, is heart breaking to watch.

Love ya all. RSL!

Hadn't heard from my daughter in 3 weeks and now have had 2 e-mails in 2 days. Actually even gave me some information about her life on ship.Has a really good friend who is an CS. Asked her what that was and she said a Culinary Specialist. She said the food just keeps getting worse and she is losing lots of weight (she doesn' t have any to lose). Told her to tell her friend that he needs to learn to cook.lol She then told me I could go ahead and send her some food. She then told me they are dating. No name yet but hopefully she will send an e-mail tonight. Said she is on night shift now and her body doesn't know what it is supposed to do.

AJ- Great to have you back.
Hope everyone else' Sailors are doing great. Can't believe it has been a year already.

Wow!  So much going on here!  I've truly missed my precious moments of reading up and catching up on you guys .... and giving you an update from here.  It always feels like home coming back on, though ...... and being curious about what everyone is up to.  Sorry to have been absent again.  I've been back a whole week from Panama and kept wanting to sit down and write a wonderful little adventure story for you ...... and kept telling myself that I didn't have time to write it all, and would do it tonight, tomorrow, the next tomorrow when I would have more time to get into it ..... and here I am a week later and nothing for you guys.  I have sooooo much to write.  My nephew and his girlfriend (who just graduated from high school) came down the day after I got home and are here until the 14th.  We are on the go every single day ...... and when we come home, I am exhausted and fall into bed.  I look forward to having a moment to myself to give you installment 2 and hopefully some pictures.

Mary - I thought of you so much with Derek being home - sounds like you had a wonderful time - so glad you got to have this visit.  That fireworks story sounds like the same chapter I've had with my boys over the years.  Roman candles and holding those bottle rockets, etc.

Iris - I love reading about your derby enthusiasm .... and wow you amaze me .... you give it all 110% ..... have I missed pictures of you in your derby gear?  You are doing whip its?  I can't imagine doing all of the stuff you are managing.  I didn't realize that July 4 was your anniversary of the big C ...... you 'whipped it' too in amazing flying colors ....... congratulations for that big milestone and you must be thrilled with how far you have come since then.

Thanks Donna for reaching out and reminding me that I needed to get my butt back on here.  I didn't see anything from you about Amanda, so assuming she is in her less contact mode.  But, I haven't gone to FB yet, so maybe there is something there.

Hurley, Dyl's Mom, Mrs. B, Nicole .... have things to write you but we are heading out in just a few minutes.  Will get back here as soon as I can.

I've had very little from A over the past ten days or so .... but read a crazy article that I'll post a link for on FB ..... really makes me wonder about things we don't know.  See you guys over there as most of what I want to write will be private.

Hugs, RSL, and I'll be back!

Sooooo, here is the news... My hubby just found out last night that he can join the Army National Guard. I guess he is interested in joining back up, because he did all this research last night and you know, no one does that unless they're interested in something. So I might be a military wife again, sometime, which will be nice, in a way. :)   He has thought about trying to get in the AF, and be an IT. He'd love that. The guy with the Navy is still helping us and he said it's just going to be a long process and we might even have to go to military court to get some of this settled. But anyways...

My Mom comes in tomorrow!!!! I haven't seen her since Christmas, so it will be so nice to see her. She hasn't seen TJ since he was like 2 months old, so that will be nice too. She's been really stressed out and so I'm hoping to give her a nice relaxing time here. We might go to the zoo or something with TJ. She's a doting mom and a great, doting grandmother, so I'm sure we'll have some fun. I'm hoping we can all go watch the new Winnie the Pooh movie that is being released on the 15th in theaters. Mom loves Pooh, and so do I! :)

Well, I started taking some medications that are making me very sick all the time, and tired, so I'm gonna go for now. TJ and Paul are sleeping...(Paul stayed up all night for me, so I could sleep and not have to take care of TJ....sweet man, huh?)

Hope things are going well for everyone! I never have time to scroll through and read everything, but I try to scan and get the idea of what is going on.

Blessings~

OK everyone. I just spoke with AJ and everything is fine. She has been very busy. She has relatives there and is showing them around and coming home and crashing. Promises she will update everyone today on here and FB. Says "Thanks" for thinking of her.
Comment by Dyl's Mom 943 on July 5, 2011 at 8:21pm

wow nicole!  i'm gonna let you help me with the xmas shopping this year!  you're great at gift ideas!

mary, glad you got to enjoy D being at home.  always nice to be reminded why you were secretly happy for a short time when they left the first time!  ha!  so this girl thing....it's hard to say what she's all about but i would say that if she came with a guy and then came back without him, more than likely, she would do it to again.  hope she's just trying to be his friend.  if not, i feel warning sirens going off.....

iris....you described a really perfect day!  i should have followed it up with the rest..... so, you're really gettin' down with the derby stuff, huh?   i bet your really getting fit too!   it's always a nice perk when you're doing something you like and your losing weight at the same time.  i sure hope this guy and hayley work out.  especially since she really likes him.  these kids and their relationships!  ugh!

i guess i've been fortunate that dyl's has never been in a serious relationship.  he's too selfish with his money and just wants to go and do for himself and no one else.  i will say that it's so hard to watch your kids go through heartbreak though.  my nephew just broke up with his girlfriend of 2 years and when he finally realized he didn't have to be so brave for his mom, he broke down.  ugh!

i'm not looking forward to that down the road.  i think when that happens, i'll have them call aj or iris.... how's that?  hee hee!

ok... gotta run.... the boys are trying to boot me off so they can get on fb......darn kids!

talk to ya soon!    rsl!

Nicole! You ROCK! I never even thought about that. My brain seems to be perpetually  on "off" mode. I think I'm gonna get her some cups and plates that are plastic to take to the beach. Thanks again girl! :)
Comment by nicole~a sailors girl(: on July 5, 2011 at 7:35pm

in that case, beach towel, maybe bright colored tupperware? to take to the beach? umbrella? a thermos? a colored one? to keep your drink cool at the beach!!!

Comment by Mrs.B_Div 302_Ship9 on July 5, 2011 at 6:41pm
Beach towel is an awesome idea Nicole! Thanks! She's friends with me on my FB so I can't say anything there...and yeah, I don't know her shoe size... :(   But she lives in Miramar which is the Marine Base here in southern CA. So I think she goes to the beach and a beach towel would do the trick! Thanks!!!
