wow iris!  it's been quite a year for you, huh?    glad you've made it this far.....i think your daughter must have some of that "get up and go" in her just like her momma!  :)   glad you're enjoying the derby stuff.  sounds like your having a blast!  so today i went and got my annual mani/pedi and guess what?  i had them weave some feathers into my hair!  woooooooooo!   kind of cool!   i got a tiger looking one, a hot pink, and a lime green.   eeeek!    they're not huge but it's noticeable if you really look.  you can wash them, dry them, curl them.  neato!  (do people say that anymore?)    i guess because i'm blonde and never color my hair, i just wanted to do something a little on the daring side for a change.   geeeez..... what's next?  tatoo's?  lol!    no.....i'm sure that the needles will keep that at bay.

ouch nicole!   i guess it's ramps for you all the way!  hee hee!    stairs really can be hazardous if you're not paying attention.....you can really do some damage to yourself on them.

gotta run....i gotta get to bed.....to much excitement today!  ha!

Mary, hope you're enjoying D being home!   the enterprise posted some pics on fb for all the activites the sailors are partaking of in Spain.  You should check them out (just go to USS Enterprise -  Govt group)... i didn't see any of dyl's (what a surprise) but i bet he's having fun.

talk to ya'll soon!  take care!   rsl!

Morning Ladies! Happy three day weekend to you all and Happy 4th of July.

Mary - Lol... isn't it nice that they don't change too much. Glad you have your sweet kiddo home. I guess I can believe they didn't notice your hair, but seriously, I don't get how they do that. 5 inches is significant. I dyed my hair yesterday morning and my husband asked at lunch if I had already done it. He couldn't tell. Lol...  I'll give him that it's not a huge change, but it is redder and the gray is gone.

Nicole - Sorry your car is being a poo. Hopefully you won't have anymore trouble. I'm so excited for you come graduation time. It's so great to have something like that to look forward to. I know you guys will have a blast, regardless of what you end up doing. Hope your finger is better. Hugs!

Mrs. B - So great to hear from you. Glad all is well with you and your family. I hope you have a great 4th. What ever came of all your blood work? I hope you are feeling better now.

Dyl's Mom - Lol... just because you went out in public casual style does not make you old. Confident, secure, comfortable with who you are, Definitely!! Derby is helping me with that. I come back from practice a sweat covered mess with helmet hair and I'm okay with being seen like that, cause I earned it. Of course, I go home and shower because I also feel pretty stinky and gross. Lol..... And you know, with that mouth you could do derby too. =)

Corie - So good to hear from you sweetie. Sorry things didn't work out with your fella, but it's good that you are moving forward and doing what is right for you. I saw on your FB page that you are from Portland, OR (at least I think I did)? How did you end up in Montana? I think boy roommates are easier than girls. They are pretty basic and if he picks up after himself than wow, you are golden. Don't be a stranger. We miss hearing of your adventures.

Well, I went back for my first practice last night. I worked my butt off and only had to go easy on a few things. Had a great trainer, Bones, who pointed out a few things that I need to work on. I'm glad cause the earlier I get rid of bad habits, the better. Our next bout is coming up on Saturday the 9th. I'm helping set up the floor so I can watch the whole game with my husband, son, and cousin. Ought to be a blast. As you all know, July 4th is a big date for me. Last year on that day I was diagnosed with colon cancer and had the tumor removed. Crazy! It's good to be on this side of things. Well, I have lots to do, so I will wish you all a very Happy 4th. Enjoy your families and friends.

RSL!

Mary- I think we're going to six flags, he's never been to an amusement park and really wants to go:) If time permits we're going there, and possibly gurnee mills mall:D he told me that's a must, because i told him how big it was. LMFAO!!!!! That boy makes me laugh. Gotta run though, going to have my finger looked at by a doctor, and taking my car in for some work to the exhaust!:) RSL! HAPPY FRIDAY!

Hi Ladies! Just checking in... I don't have much to say. Life is full, busy and fun. We went to the San Diego Zoo today and saw Polar Bears and Lions and of course, a LOT more, but those are the two we loved the most. :)  If you guys ever come to San Diego, make sure you go to the zoo. It's worth it!

Anyways... it's late and Paul has work in the morning, so I'm gonna go and hopefully get my little one in bed and get myself in bed too. (TJ doesn't know how to take naps any more, yet he still doesn't want to go to bed until really late....LOL. He's a boy...what can I say?)

Hope things are going well and that everything is going well with your Sailors...

Oh yes, really quick, we still haven't heard back from the man who is helping us with Paul's Navy discharge stuff, but I wrote him an email and he responded saying he was still working on it and to feel free to keep in contact with him. He's really nice and wants to help.

Well ladies, my car is just starting to fall apart on me. I had to get a new ignition switch, and now a new exhaust!!!! BLEEEH!

thankfully my aunt is paying for it because they want me to save my money for seeing G. I'm thinking i'll have an ample amount though. my first check was 445 after taxes

this one should be around 600 after taxes. before taxes its 700 something!!

i wish i could have the job year-round!!! ah!:( i started looking and getting an idea of plane ticket prices from the QC to Charleston, running around 440$:/ im thinking G and I will split the price, which will make it easier, even though i wont see him often this year. im trying for october, then HOPEFULLY christmas! and for sure february, that'll be our 1 year, then in may when i graduate. hopefully he'll be able to come home for prom though =)

Mary- Have a great time with D while he is home. Can't believe no one would notice 5 inches of hair gone. That is alot. I would do with just an e-mail from mine at the moment.

Shelly- I gave  up on makeup a long time ago. Guess I am alot older than all of you even though I don't feel like it. Always figure I don't know anyone anyhow so don't really care.

Iris- Hope all is well with you and Haley.

AJ- Hope all is coming together  you and your passport. Safe travels and prayers are still with you. Sounds like you are having a blast.

mary, don't even worry about the bed...he probably won't notice!  he'll just be so excited to be home and be around family.....i'm so excited for you!  it's so cool when they get to come home for a visit.  you get a chance to spoil them a little......

so speaking of ol married ladies....hubby took me for a spin on the harley last night....i hopped right on and had a blast.  when i got home, i realized that i had old shorts on, old tshirt with paint stains, and no makeup on.....omg!  did i really go out in public like that?   i guess at some point when you get older, you just don't give a rip anymore.  and i have to use mary's new saying....if people don't like it, they can gtfo.... weeeeeeeeee!

crud....do i have to go wash my mouth out now?   hee hee!

hurley,.....how are those boys doing?  report please.....

hey corie!   glad to hear from you and glad you're moving forward.  it's good you realized early that things wouldn't work out and did something about it.

Wow Nicole, you must be in heaven right now! I bet you can't wait for him to get home!

Omg, Mary! Yay! D is coming home! Happy dance! So funny about the nakies... Guess with our sailors on ships and wherever else, nakies don't mean much. No shock factor for them. Well I'm sure your all set for the visit. Food, check. Gas in the car, check. Chain lock for stove, check and double check!
