That's a thought but could do without diaper bag and stroller with 2 year old too. The biggest thing is that when they are this little, everything becomes about them and I really want this to be Greg's weekend, you know? Like go to the restaurants he wants to go to and do what he wants to do without having to cater to schedules and desires of small kids. My sister said she'd come down and keep them anytime but they really don't know her all that well and they are a handful. So we'll see... I have a feeling Greg is going to start asking us to bring them.

David will be going to A school to be a Corpsman.
I can understand the 2 yr old could be harder. Could you take one and not the other ? At least with the 4 yr old, no diaper bag, stroller etc etc

If they were 9, I would totally do it. They are 2 and 4, though. My 4 year old would be manageable. My two year old? Not so much.... What's David's rate? Greg will be in Maryland for 6 long months. Kind of a cold winter for my California kid!

I will find out about the Spring Hill suites....well...I surely understand the decision of taking younger ones. My twins are 9 and can be antsy but I figure David will only do this one in his life and Id want them to take some pics with David. Davids A school is right there in GL and is 14 weeks long !

Right. Did you see on that pamphlet they sent with the form letter they list all the hotels? I noticed some of them even had discount codes. Did you use a discount code? Also, I heard someone else talking about the Spring Hill Suites, but I couldn't tell where it was on the map compared to the Ramada. We may need a suite too if we end up taking our two littlest ones. I'm just not sure about taking them. I really don't want to but know Greg will be dying to see them since he has 6 months of A school before he gets any leave which means 8 months without seeing his little brothers. The other issue is the only person who has ever kept them overnight is Greg so we don't really have anyone to keep them and shockingly, people aren't exactly lining up to volunteer! Ha... Maybe there will be a contingent of us that need suites near the Ramada.

well as of now we are Michelle but paying for two rooms is a lot more expensive then some sort of suite so im going to look around more so in the Gurnee area. See your inbox

Good morning, Maureen! I had no idea they'd be filling up already! Better get my reservation today. Are you and Jerry still staying at the Ramada? I know a few of us are planning to so as many of us as possible can be together.
