Sobe~I got the same, "don't expect me to really write" from Adam...hope to prove him wrong!

I think someone else must have addressed the envelope and written the date...that can't be MY son's near perfect handwriting. ;-) One of the best things, he only put mine and the ex's names for graduation....means it will be easier to ask him to add both significant others. If he had put just mine and three people from dad's new "family", there was no way I was gonna ask him to change it. I am rambling on here ladies....I am so running off this adrenalin rush!

I feel like Steve from Blue's Clues! I just got a letter, and I'm singing the song!

Hey Mom, Chris, Luke & Sam! Its not too bad here, kind of annoying but nothing I won't get myself through. Don't forget to tell Erica & Aimee my address and I should be writing everyone next week! Hope everything is going well and I'll see you all soon. You may have noticed: the want us to use ALL CAPS printing and it looks less pretty than normal. Love you guys.

Sorry Kim, but even though we think we are excited to get mail, they LIVE for mail. These kids (especially the guys) don't realize how much they miss home and their family & friends until they get there.

My son HATES to write and told us not to expect much with letters, boy was I surprised. He wrote faithfully and every single letter said "please keep writing me, I need those letters, I will go nuts if I don't hear from you". Made me cry! He also wrote, and I quote: "When things get bad here, I close my eyes and think of our house, I see myself walking around from room to room and I almost feel like I am there, it really helps me get thru this Mom". I wondered who was writing that, because it sure didn't sound like my son - but it was!

Hello! So glad to read these positive letters... I am going to go check my mail right now as I just saw the mailman drive off. He's early today! That must be a sign, right?
