Oh, they don't do that here:/ I sure wish they did!!!!!

That'd be AWESOME. But no, they basically said "We're not treating you like a guest anymore, you will participate just as all others, you will call commands and learn what we teach, you will fill out the roster as a guest and that is the only time you will be referred to as such". So basically the only thing missing is that little signiture.

Happy Fat Tuesday!

Good for you Nicole. I know they let all grades in high school DEP here. Thought the 2 young ladies at the front desk of marts recruiter were recruiters until I asked and they were only in 9th grade! They did say they will get to go in as E3 by DEPing in HS

Mary you are so funny, you never cease to make me laugh!

I dont have ROTC:/ Not offered here. Or not at my school. But I'll have a few college courses.

Oh, believe me, they for sure want me there. Because I want Aviation Rescue Swimmer, which is RARE to have women in, they have a chance of a bonus or something for signing meandgetting my PFT done and me getting picked up on a contract right away.

Yippee, yeah Nicole!  W/ some college and ROTC under your belt you might be able to enter the Navy w/ E3 pay:)

Congrats! on the car too.

So funny Iris, sorry, been there with my little doggie Zoe. She sleeps in-between me and the hubby. You made me really laugh with the story.

I am so sorry Mrs B about your hubby falling. You've had so many trying times since he's been in B C. I love my family too so I can understand how you feel.

I am so happy Mary that derrick is doing great and he is so smart I can't see him doing only great with his next testing. Matt takes his e4 test in 2 weeks and is framing for it. Also jas to do his bi yearly PT test in April. Still can't run even though they Pt 5 days a week. He makes it but just barely.crazy

Sorry AJ for your stress right now. Guess we all knew when out sailors joined it's all a part of what they are called to do. Our prayers for you and A. So mice you are back in the stAtes again. Nice to know paradise is just a plane ride away!
