Morning all.... guess what today is? I get my girl home for a visit. Woo Hoo... Happy Dance...
I'm SO EXCITED! I Feel great and in a few really long hours I'll get to hold my daughter in my arms again. So freakin' happy.
Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. I will definitely tell you everything when I get a chance. I think today will be bitter sweet for Haley cause she's leaving Travis behind and it'll be two whole weeks till he's in Hawaii and then they have to wait till they have time off together. Two weeks + is a long time when you are young. It'll be good for them. They can evaluate where things are going and how they feel about each other.
Anyhoo... gotta run and get showered.
Really quick - AJ - OMG Sam is adorable. Where and how did you get an orangutan baby?
Nicole - I do know that song and I'm totally getting this party started. Pink!!!!
Thanks DO & Mrs. B - HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY.... the only way to live life.
Chat with you all soon.
Hi LynB - good to see you here again - and sorry that you guys have felt so crummy and been so sick. Sounds like A has found a better streak of encouragement and support in Coronado - amazing that his Sr. Chief is talking recommendation to the USS Constitution on his behalf. It really does seem to help to receive these internal recommendations. He may end up in Boston yet!
Received a call from Aaron last night - wanted to know how to best wash his backpack. Guess I'm good for something! ...... although he has been much sweeter since the family day last Friday. He said they did a really good job with it and had a BBQ and a show of the planes, helicopters, etc. in addition to the cruise.
Today is Monday! and Iris is totally spazzing out in anticipation of Haley's arrival today ...... so happy for you girl! Hoo Yah!
All that great weather we had last week .... being replaced by ten below tonight, a high of one below tomorrow, and freakin' eighteen below tomorrow night ...... before wind chill!
Nicole and Mary - stay safe with all that ice heading your way. Hope you have all that you need so that you can stay in.
Have to dash for now ... more later.
She is a Scottish Terrier...from the same breed as a Yorkie, but she has a longer body than a Yorkie. :)
SOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU IRIS!!!! Have an awesome time with Haley! Blessings to both of you and your family! :)
TOOOOOOOOOOOOOMORROWWWWW IRIS!!!!!!! ARE YOU READY FOR THIS!?
I KNOW YOU ARE!!!
GET PUMPED UP!!!
"get the party started on a monday night, everybody's waitin, for haley to arrive, sendin out the message to all of her friends"
i don't know if you know the song, but that's what i thought of, lol.
Awww Mrs. B is that a Yorkie? I know you must miss her, she is tooo cute!
