I got phone call! Yippee and what a surprise! I figured the next phone call i would get would be his "i'm a sailor" call. He said they were at Recruit Heaven. Said something about doing really well on something ...test/flags? I'm not exactly sure what it was but he sounded so good! I'm sure part of it was winning the Captains Cup as well. He's so excited that the division has really come together and they will be the first 900 division to be inducted into the hall of fame (if they get that far) for the last 2 years. He said he was in the push up competition along with 3 others and they beat the 800 division by 10 or so. Not too shabby!. Anyhow, just really good to hear his voice and so glad we only have 5 more days to go! HURRY UP SEPT 10TH!!

Didn't someone post that you can buy tickets on-line for the naval air show this coming weekend? Could you re-post the site please.

Trying to figure out how to fulfill what my sailor told his sister he would like for us to take to Great Lakes from Brunswick, GA - an internationally acclaimed pork chop sandwich with cheese & mustard from Willie's Weenie Wagon!

He sounded so good but a bit congested still and is on antibiotics. He can not wait until Friday, oh he said it's cold up there... he's a Florida boy. He said BS is intense and his Dad said to just have fun. He laughed. I am soooo happy

Oh the reason they changed ships is because the Constitution is being renovated and they moved them to the Ruben James ship 2. He said they have nice hot water in it
