Mary!  This will be great practice for you ..... the zip lining .... you will be ready for ziplining through the rain forest in CR!  I love zip lining .... what a fun thing to do when Derek is home.

that's pretty cool Mary!  i think you'll make a great volunteer!  i bet you're getting pretty excited for the visit!   your doing a zip line?  isn't that when you just hang on for dear life and go whizzing down a line?  hmmmm..... almost sounds like fun.  sounds a little scary too!

iris, sounds like your having a great time with the derby!  that's awesome!  how long is the season?  so what kind of car did Haley buy?  Has she heard anything yet on changing her rate?

ok... i guess i'll go for now.  i'm either gonna go do my wii zumba or play mario bros....   mario sounds like more fun......

Morning Ladies -

Well Derby is certainly keeping me busy. I'm taking lots of pics, sneaking in practice at home, and going to meetings. We have a bout on July 9th and I will be helping set up so I can enjoy the bout with my hubby, son, and cousin. Thursday I'm putting up flyers around town. Hubby is gearing up for the big Area-1 match this weekend which is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Cody is back at work and will be able to start his P-90X workouts next week and then be back at the Marine Corp Depper workouts the following. So he's happy. My doctor apt. went well. He said he didn't want to see me till this fall. Lol... I like that. I see my surgeon on Thursday and hope she says I can officially skate soon. I feel great and I'm anxious to get back to exercising. I believe Haley bought a car last night. She was due to skype with her dad but had to reschedule.

Mary - Glad you are having a great week. Zip line - you wild woman you. Lol.. I'm afraid of heights so I'll just let you enjoy that sport. =)  Isn't it funny that people can't always see what seems so obvious to everyone else? I hope there is a happy ending for Taylor and your son. Very cool volunteering with the Red Cross. You seem like a woman of action and when people are in need, there's nothing worse than feeling like you can't help. Sooooo... what would hang you up on the security clearance and background check? Lol... must involve nakedness. Good luck.

PPM - Howdy! It's great to hear you are back. We are all just still having a good time chatting it up. Can't wait to hear your update.

Nicole - The waiting game is the worst. I'm glad you had a great time with your family. Yes, there is something pretty cool about stuff that goes fast. =) Keep us updated and stay busy, that way the time will go by faster and easier.

Well, I need to get moving. Have a fantastic day one and all. RSL!

Hang in there Nicole .... you know it's coming .... just a matter of what day.  Congrats on the 4 month marker .... four months of happiness .... you know he's probably doing great ... he was ready.  And Iris is exactly right about G's friend and family .... ditto what she said.

Elaine (Pat's Proud Mom) .... glad that you checked in here with us .... it's been a long time ..... let us know how you and your Sailor are doing.  And yup, reading our back pages is the best way to catch up with us!  Good to see you here again.

Hehe, shell, that was just so funny making all those songs up and freaking out about the ramada! I think our whole PIR group was and still is the best group of ladies. Look how we still keep it going. We never forget! Still supporting each other. Seems like even more support is needed now than during BC. What would I do without my N4Ms... You all are my surrogate CG moms too!

Hey Nicole. Yay for money, that is always nice. Sorry you haven't received a letter yet. Soon, soon, soon, I hope. Ignore the bf.  You all miss G. and he's lucky to have so many people that care. Hang in there and don't let anyone make you feel bad. You know what's up. And he'll be back before you know it. =)  Make sure you report in when he does write. Hugs!!!
