Good Morning all.

If any of you get a phone call from your SR this weekend, please ask for their BattleStations date and friend request/message it to me.  Thanks.  I still need most divisions' dates for this PIR group.

I agree with ellen...when they say have to go, let them go!  They know the consequences of not complying with the order to hang up!  Say your "I love yous" at the beginning of the call!  :-)

Cherrish:  Accepted your friend request

Phone calls are one of those don't expect one kinda things, but keep your phone close and always at hand you never know.

When you do get a call and they say they have to hang up, understand they HAVE TO hang up. It's not the time to start telling them about Uncle Bob's ingrown toenail, or give them a wait just one more thing. There may be two, twelve or thirty others standing behind him/her anticipating their phone call that could lose the privilege if your SR stays on the phone. It can be hard for them to say "shut up mom I love you, but I really have to hang up."

@Ellen. Way to keep it real. Ha ha ha!

Phone calls are a privilege not a given. Not every division will be able to call, not every SR will be able to call. Even if your SR writes and tells you they have earned a call home, look forward to receiving it, but do not expect it. Phone call privileges can be taken away as fast as they can be given.

My son earned three phone calls while in BC, and he was able to make one of them. That phone call was to have been an hour call and he got 2 1/2 minutes. His phone call was cut short because of previous callers abusing the privilege. The other two calls were never given to him because someone or something caused them not to happen

So, look forward to receiving a phone call, but do not expect one. If you get a call savor every second you have talking to them. If another division is granted calls it doesn't mean every division will get a call.

Can one of you veteran moms give us an idea why some SR's and Divisions get to call so soon and so frequently, while others only get one call?
