Dad of sr, what day is your PIR?

Dad of SR:  Just sent you a "message" in a friend request to doublecheck the date.  Thanks!

Epitome of classiness and clueless. I'm sure her SR, whether it be her son, boyfriend or husband was mortified and embarrassed for her. For all AZ moms, this sounds like she just came from Van Buren!

@Lala: "That girl";SO inappropriate. Show some class for a ceremony that is held for the many that take it seriously...its not a party for your boyfriend or date night. Seriously.
Comment by Dad of Sailor on September 15, 2012 at 11:39am

My SR just called and we got to speak for 15 minutes, said they got a call for doing well on their last personnel inspection.

He's doing very well and they are all looking forward to being done. Final PFA, test 3 and BS are all that are left....diannep your guess at their BS day was right on.

Very nice surprise this Saturday morning so we'll be smiling all day. Hope you all get calls this weekend.

Business or dressy casual are always acceptable.  I wore nice black jeans, nice shirt and sweater with jacket (winter time for me).  But you see a bit of everything there.  Just try and be respectful of the ceremony itself....the officers and guest speakers will be in their military best!

I saw a young lady wearing a leopard print spandex mini-skirt, black halter top, fishnet stockings and 9in heels. I almost had to slap my then 16 yr old sons eyes back into his head lol. I just really felt sorry for her Sailor but maybe he liked her dressed like that. It was very inappropriate and was definitely noticed lol. Lots of husbands staring and lots of wives slapping lol.

Good Saturday morning everyone, lovely dale for a yard sale right? uggg, I wanna go back to bed lol. I hope you all have a great day. I will be back late this afternoon :-)

There is not a dress code for PIR, but remember your sailors will be in their dress whites.I would not recommend daisy dukes, a crop top and flip flops for oh so many reason.

Rolling laughter

You will be climbing and sitting on bleachers, and walking a lot. Wear something nice, but something you will also be comfortable in, and shoes you can walk in for a while. Do bring a sweater or something we have heard it has been cold in the drill hall.

Ok cool. My boyfriend and I are talking about getting engaged. We're both 19. :)
