Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

Glad for your info since im getting depressed from not hearing from him. Im still writing him everyday. Hoping for call or letter. Glad they are winning flags. Thanks again for info.

Comment by diannep on September 12, 2012 at 5:47pm: Some are held in processing longer than others (my son was a first arrival for his group...as had longer processing days). Others may be in a "push" division which means they have a couple of days less to do everything, but they get it done.

Celia: Check back with me later on a date for 312. I get so many requests for them that I can't keep up! Pretty certain that 312 will be going during PIR week.

Comment by diannep on September 12, 2012 at 5:44pm: Dad of SR: Your son's group will be the first to go through BattleStations 307/308. His week/day count is correct. We can't post BattleStations dates on this site, but, yes, they will be going next week. Most will be finishing during PIR week.

Comment by proudnavymama ship13,div 311 on September 12, 2012 at 3:56pm: Got a letter today!!;) He says his division has earned all flags that are possible & are on track to make Hall of Fame, but said its pretty sad how good they're doing b/c they still can't get along...I still have yet to ever receive a phone call! Anyone else? I'm very interested to know when BS is b/c I don't wanna miss my possible 1 phone call I'm gonna receive, so if someone has that knowledge I would lovevto know that date! He also earned sharpshooter, so proud of all of them & cannot wait for PIR!!! 16 days can't get her soon enough!!
