Whoop! Whoop! 20 days. @Cristyg-we received a letter from our SR yesterday also. He mentioned Hell Week but didn't mention performing. Probably because he's not a performer yet he's in 946? With that said, if the mom from 945 could get pics of 946...especially of the non-performer brown kid (lol), I would be a happy mom :)

COUNTER IS UNDER 20 DAYS!!!

Getting close now, can't wait. Glad I got my tickets when I did as they are several hundred dollars more per ticket now.

Received a letter today from my daughter division946 it was dated 9/2 she said that they would be starting hell week. Can't wait to get next weeks letter or maybe a call this weekend to see how everything went. She did sound better this week. There are just so many questions that run through my head every day. There are some really great pics on the Facebook page for the 900 division. Our 946 division will start performing at PIR next Friday. I hope their are some families that post pics so we may get to see our SR' s. Everyone have a great weekend..... I think it is so quiet because everyone is anticipating letters on how hell week went for their SR..... I know I am ready.

I've been checking in on here all day and it's been that way all day.

SHAZAMMM! Kazzam got a letter today. 13/313 doing better. Division average is 4.78. They are also taking their individual and division photos this week. He got to pick his "dream sheet" with San Diego being #1 and Florida #2 and Washington #3. He also said that after the 4 weeks of A school at GL, he will have a 10 day leave to come home before reporting to base. He has been sick and thinks that he might have "pink eye" :( All in all, he says BC is getting better and the RDC's are starting to ease up a little so they learn to do things on their own. I couldn't be more happy and proud than I am right now. Have a good night everyone.

Happy birthday to your son blakes mom

Comment by Dad of Sailor on September 6, 2012 at 12:25pm

He called last Saturday and from the other room I heard her answer the phone and yell "HEY EVY!" I cringed and hoped no one could hear on his end. It is cute but I don't know how cute it would be if his friends or RDC's were calling him that. :)
